Unwind and de-stress from the everyday grind in this great mountain cabin located on an acre lot, less than 15 minutes from the historic town of Cripple Creek. The interior has knotty pine tongue and groove paneling and hardwood floors throughout. The beautiful mountains and wildlife surrounding the cabin are reflected in the interior decor.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a smooth top range and over the range microwave, along with all the pots, pans, and utensils you should need. The coffeemaker includes a timer so the coffee can be ready when you are!

Imagine starting the day by waking up and seeing some of the great mountains of Colorado through the huge picture window right from your cozy queen pine bed in the master bedroom. Surrounded by pines and aspens, great views, and lots of wildlife, you know your morning is off to a good start.

Activities to consider for the day could be hiking the Crags, a tour of Mueller State Park, or a visit to the casinos in Cripple Creek - all within 10-15 minutes of the cabin. There are many other activities in this area of Colorado to keep everyone happy! We can provide a list upon request.

To wind down from the day's activities, you can enjoy awesome Colorado sunsets from the deck or through the huge picture windows, while sipping your favorite beverage. You might even have company as deer stroll through for an evening meal. All this and the cozy fire in the wood burning stove - what else could a body need?

It will truly create Elation at Elevation.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful time over Christmas in your adorable cabin. We had everything we needed and more. Saw deer every day near the cabin, which was great as we love the wildlife. We even hiked in Garden of the Gods with the dogs and they absolutely loved it. So all in all, we had a great time in Colo. Springs and the cabin was perfect.

  • This cabin was great! It had a wonderful porch with an awesome view! Very clean, cute, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, too! There were also lots of condiments and spices in the cabin. The cabin is in a quiet area and near Mueller Park where you can do lots of hiking. We really loved it here! :)

  • Mom and "the kids" and I had a GREAT time at "Elation at Elevation"! We did some serious relaxing, which is needed after hiking, sight seeing, antiquing, etc. The cabin is so comfortable -- warm and cozy. You really had every little thing there that we needed and forgot to bring with us. We can't wait to come back in the summer when we can make good use of your lovely deck and watch the sunsets in style!

  • We had a great time at elation at elevation! This is a beautiful cabin in the woods. Very clean and nicely decorated with a wood burning stove and stocked kitchen. They even provide the wood! The cabin is peaceful and secluded, very comfortable. We visited during February and while the cabin is relatively easily accessible from the main highway, the roads are dirt, quite steep and can be difficult in icy conditions. There is nice hiking nearby, beautiful sunsets, and plenty of wildlife. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this cabin and hope to stay there again.

  • We were thrilled to be the first guests at "Elation at Elevation". It has everything you want when you think mountain cabin: wood burning stove, pine finishings, trees, and a great deck with a view to watch the sunset and stars. There are winding roads and beautiful trails nearby to wander. The cabin is very clean (just renovated and decorated by new owners),extremely well-stocked and easy to get to. This place was perfect for what we were looking for...a quick, quaint, and quiet getaway that was close to home, but a million miles from Monday.
