Comfortable place, but road noise if on balcony

My best friend and I rented this condo for a long weekend get-away. It is very comfortable and roomy enough for the 2 of us. Nice to have the extra 1/2 bath, for sure. The condo complex itself was very quiet. Only two drawbacks were the road noise when you are on the balcony, or if you have the back windows open; and that the walk "2 blocks to Albertson's and 6 more to the Plaza" was along a very busy road. We ended up driving both to the grocery and the mile+ to the Plaza. Best thing about Santa Fe was the food! We used Yelp reviews, plus Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to find places we loved!

Owner response:The plaza area is a pedestrian area, but most of Santa Fe and the great sites of New Mexico are at a distance, so a car is necessary and convenient, especially after a long day walking, shopping, eating! After visiting Santa Fe each year for 4 years, we purchased two condos in this complex for its convenient location, wonderful view of the city and mountains, and roomy parking lot. Many of our guests return each year. Because we're located near the main artery to the city, there is road noise when on the balcony, but it's quiet inside the condo, and the views are well worth it! No place is perfect, but for a quiet retreat after a long day in the plaza, air-conditioned rooms, laundry facilities inside the condo, wireless internet, and easy access to both inner city and all points around the city, this location is marvelous for most visitors.

Very impressed with size of our Condo for six adults and 2- 2yr olds. The Condo had everything we needed and loved how close it was to Ski and shop. This family will definetly return for future Holidays.

Incredible stay in Santa Fe. Very relaxing to come home each day to a truly fully equiped kitchen to make supper to unwind & view the moutains. Great value! Central location. We would stay there again without hesitation.

From the minute we walked in we felt at home. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. From the views of the Santa Fe plaza and mountains to the cozy wood burning fireplace we enjoyed every minute of our stay. All of the rooms are wonderfully decorated and all of the furnishings very comfortable. The large covered deck area was perfect for watching the early winter snow falling. We walked to the plaza every day ( a little over a mile easy walk) and found a wonderful French bakery/cafe along the way. As vacation rental home owners ourselves we certainly give this condo two thumbs up! Thanks Scott and Glynn.

My family and I truly enjoyed staying in this condo. We had everything we needed and we were close to everything we wanted to see and visit. Wonderful view of the town and mountains from the balcony. I wish only that the weather had been cold enough to use the kiva fireplace. I love the fireplace in the living room! This is a great place to stay in Santa Fe.

My short stay in Santa Fe was made more enjoyable with my stay at this beautiful condo. Tastefully decorated, easy access, everthing you can imagine is supplied. You will enjoy early mornings and evenings on the balcony. My daughter and I enjoyed every minute! I want to come back right now!!

This was out first time in Santa Fe and we loved every minuite! The condo was perfect for our stay. It was very cozy and comfortable. Loved having the nice kitchen with everything furnished! This was just like being home, but even better because of all the places to shop,etc. The food is out of this world, with so many choices.We are already wanting to return for a longer stay next trip and will plan to stay in the same condo. The view was beautiful facing the mountains!!! All I can say is,( Everything was Perfect) and a Thank you to Glynn & Scott!!

Great place to stay to explore Santa Fe!

We had a great stay in this condo in June 2011. The unit was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The decor really made you feel like you were in the Southwest! Quiet complex. There is a busy road nearby, but noise not a problem inside unit. Mountain views from covered balcony were very nice. Building elevator made it very easy to move luggage to this third-floor unit. Shopping and dining options were very close, including two grocery stores and a pharmacy. Good proximity to Santa Fe's central plaza and activities. The owners were very helpful with suggestions for dining and day trips. During our visit, staying in the condo made us feel almost like we actually lived in beautiful Santa Fe! This was our first experience with a vacation rental, and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you for a lovely visit.

My wife and I stayed at this fine and clean unit the end of May and had a great time. It was very well located, allowing for quick day trips out of town, and also allowed us to walk to the center of the city and to the nearby grocery. Everything you would like in a well stocked home was there and we especially liked the extra half bath. Parking was easy and it was nice and quiet at night. Highly recommended.

This place is just amazing , so beautiful, great location, super clean, the bed and the pillow so confortable, great value. A wonderful vacation condo in Santa Fe

I rented this condo for our 2010 Christmas ski vacation. The rooms are decorated very nicely. It makes you feel like in your home. It is located very close to a shopping center, which is on the way back from ski area; so convienient if you want to make your own dinner after ski. We rented two condos in the same complex. They are in almost the same price, but this one is in a much better condition. I hightly recommend this unit. Yafei

We had a great stay at the condo. It's fully decorated and homey, well kept. The washer and dryer were very handy, and it was nice having a full kitchen. The condo's on the third floor, but there's a handy elevator. The owner is a nice & friendly guy. The condo's very convenient to a supermarket (maybe a 5-10 minute walk away), and easy driving distance from downtown. We really enjoyed Santa Fe and hope to be back soon!

Santa Fe Spirit

We were totally charmed by this property. The location was convenient to both the downtown tourist areas and a local supermarket, giving us the flexibility that we wanted and needed. The decor, which reflected the Southwest spirit, set the tone for our wonderful stay that followed. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner was available and helpful. I would not hesitate to return to this condo or recommend it to my closest friends.

My husband and I loved the accessibility to everything, elevator to take our things to the second floor, and the place was clean and comfortable. While we could not rent the original condo we saw on the site, the one we got was comparable. The master bedroom was a king and second bedroom had twin beds. We did not hear any noise from neighbors. We slept in one and put our baggage in the other. It was great to feel at home. I would recommend this site - an older, more established condo unit in a location that is safe and near freeway and main roads to town. Internet access was a plus for teaching online courses while traveling. Owners were extremely quick to respond to any questions prior to our stay and assurances of responses in case we needed them during our stay - which we did not. Our only suggestion for improvement is to change the shower head which was not working correctly. At best this was a minor inconvenience and one we did not think worth calling the owners about. The scenery in that part of the country is truly amazing and enchanting. We were able to attend the opening receptions of artists and galleries downtown - another plus on our stay in Santa Fe. We traveled to Abiqui and Ghost Ranch and walked around there for a bit reviving some old memories and also ate at Rancho de Chimayo, a really great restaurant in the mountains. This is truly the land of enchantment and we were hooked.

Family Reunion Made Easy

We stayed in this unit during 2009's Christmas season. My apologies for the late review! Our entire family (19 of us) flew to New Mexico to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. What a relief to find an accommodation like this where you felt like it was a home away from home. It was particularly wonderful that our entire family stayed at this condo complex. We condo hopped among 5 different units for cocktails, dinner, and entertainment! My sister & her toddler especially appreciated the comforts of home - being able to make breakfast for everyone, read magazines or watch TV in the living room, take a shower/bath at one's leisure, do laundry when the need arose. Found the condo to be very clean & cozy. I was hoping we'd be closer to Santa Fe downtown, so we could walk there, but it was snowing & it was only mere minutes by car. Will definitely keep this accommodation in mind next time we are out in Santa Fe!

We enjoyed our stay very much, and I've just spent a few moments trying to think of how things might have been improved... haven't come up with anything yet! Lovely decor, clean, adequate lighting for reading, etc., comfortable beds... very pleasant all around. We didn't use the kitchen except for simple breakfasts, but it seemed to provide adequate appliances and utensils. I'd love to stay again sometime!

This condo is very well furnished with all the amenities one could ever ask for. It is immaculately clean, comfy beds, availability of washer and dryer in the unit, and a very short ride or longer walk to the Plaza. We would definitely stay here again. We met three other couples for three days of good food, pleasant company, and excellent Southwestern hospitality.

I just returned from a visit to Santa Fe where my older parents and I stayed in this condo. The condo was beautifully decorated in Santa Fe style and was very comfortable. This condo was perfect for older visitors - the elevator loads within a few steps of the front door and the parking is within a few more steps. There was handicapped accessibility and the parking lot was well lit and felt very safe. Even my little dog had a nice yard of grass downstairs to do her business. The condo was very clean, well maintained and stocked with appliances, kitchen accessories, linens, cleaning needs,etc... anything one would need to have a comfortable stay. Other than clothes and personal items, there was nothing we really needed to bring. The condo was well situated in town to have easy car access to downtown shopping, casinos, the ski area and restaurants. The owners were really friendly and easy to work with. There were no negative "surprises"... in fact, the pictures don't really do the place justice. It's a very cute and comfortable place to stay. Thanks, Scott, for your assistance in our stay.

We stayed here for our 30th Wedding anniversary - the condo is laid out very well - cozy sitting area with fireplace which opens out onto the balcony. The unit was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for the week. Plenty of parking and very convenient to everything (Albertsons within a 5 minute drive) although you would want to drive to the plaza - we usually parked on Canyon Road and walked to the Plaza - very close to plenty of hiking trailheads and a nice vineyard within 20 minutes - Scott and Glynn were wonderful hosts with plenty of information on local restaurants and activities. We would, without a doubt stay here again!

Spent four nights in this great condo -- it was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. This was our first time using VRBO and we were very happy with the accommodations. The location was perfect -- easy to get to and close to the town. We felt we had a great value compared to staying at a hotel in town. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. I'm ready to book again with my extended family. Would recommend Scott's condos without any reservations -- loved it!

We got the opportunity to stay at Scott condo in August of 2008 and had the best time. The condo is in a great location that is close to everything, from shopping, restaurants, and skiing. The views from the balcony are amazing. We brought my mother and father with us and the condo was spacious enough to comfortably accommondate all of us. He also has a few other there in Santa Fe, so if this one is taken, make sure to ask him about his other ones!!!! Thanks for a wonderful experience Scott you truely have a gem in Santa Fe!!!

We spent 2 nights in August at this condo. The southwestern decor was absolutely beautiful. The condo was very spacious and comfortable. It is in a quiet location but very close to all of the Santa Fe attractions. We have also stayed at one of Scott's other condos on another trip and were equally pleased. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area in the future.

We spent 4 days at Scott's #305 condo in Santa Fe during July- it was great! We hightly recommend it...the location makes it accessible to downtown Santa Fe and the mountains. It is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities of home with lots of Southwest decor!

We spent a full week here in June. The condo was beautifully furnished, well equipped and so very comfortable. There was plenty to see and do in the area and we especially enjoyed the Lensic Theatre, local restaurants and shopping. We also visited Taos and the Pueblo there which was so interesting. We certainly hope to return in the not too distant future and would recommend this condo to anyone.

We just spent 4 days in the condo, and it was GREAT! It was so nice to have a clean, "homey" place to come back to at the end of the day. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable, and allowed everyone their own space to read or just rest. The condo was also very quiet and was decorated in such a neat "Santa Fe" style. Just what you would expect! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonable, clean and convenient place to stay while in Santa Fe. In fact, I'm coming back in just a couple of weeks!! The eating places recommended by the owner were very helpful and were very good. Don't miss this one!

Our family spent an awesome Spring Break here! We were on the go a lot and enjoyed coming back to such a clean and cozy place after a busy day. The decor was fun and friendly and the location was close to shopping and major routes out of town for easy getting around. We found the Whole Foods a great way to stock the fridge! The owners were so easy to work with--I felt they really cared about providing a quality rental experience. I would definitely stay with them again. Good place for couples or girls get-a-way too. Some of our fun spots were Bandolier Nat'l. Park, Kasha- Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, a beautiful hike through the Santa Fe Nat'l. Forest about 15 minutes out of town, and a great night out for dinner at Cafe Pasquali's. Blue Corn Cafe was one of the kids' favorite spots to eat.

We spent our Spring Break week at this condo and cannot say enough great things about our stay. Scott was very helpful in making our arrangements. The condo was perfect for our family of four. It is in an ideal location - close to everything, but not too close. The beds were comfortable and the home was spacious - ideal for families. It is near the main road to the ski area and close to many great restaurants. We highly recommend Osteria D'Assisi at 58 Federal Place. It is an authentic Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. We are already looking forward to a return trip next year. Thank you Scott and VRBO!!
