Beautiful Property - Long Wait for Security Deposit

The property was beautiful and the house was as described in the listing. We arrived at the house the weekend after a hurricane and my husband had to clean up the yard so our son could play in it. Although we had a wonderful time at the house, we stayed the first week of September and received our deposit check back on November 23.

My family and I stayed at Marcia's house, and have decided to name it the "Pottery Barn" house! It was a beautifully appointed house with gorgeous antiques and furniture pieces. The home was quite comfortable and spacious. We had a wonderful BBQ, where both young and old had fun! The elders enjoyed sitting in the sun room sipping on wine, as the wee ones were out running around in the beautiful gardens trying to catch fireflies! Marcia and her husband were attentive to all of our needs and answered all of our many questions. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect house in College Park/University Park

My friend and I stayed in Marcia's house for 4 weeks in January 2011 while attending a training course. Her house was great. It has all you need for an extended stay: 4 bedrooms, fast WiFi, cable, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, bikes in garage, etc. The neighborhood is extremely safe. We walked the 0.6 miles to the Metro station at all hours of the night. It is very close to the Univ of MD that has plenty of restaurant options. You can live here with or without a rental car. It's easy to get to the Metro subway stop on foot or bike which is what we did for 4 weeks. If you had a rental car it'd be even easier. Marcia, the owner, is extremely responsive to any problems. A large snow/ice storm hit the area while we were there and she always instantly answered her phone to handle any problem we had with the house. Our hot water heater was not working well and she had a plumber out to fix it within a few hours. A true 5-star rating for this house.

This was a lovely home. When we arrived, it had a welcome feeling with the lights on and the airconditioning. Everything we needed was there. The neighborhood was quiet and near the metro for our trips into DC. The owner answered all of my questions with a quick friendly response. We ate in DC so didn't try any local restaurants but did see some that looked nice. If I came to the area again,I would plan to stay in this home and would recommend it to anyone traveling that way. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything was just as stated on VRBO.
