Our Cozy Mountain Cabin is in a great neighborhood and the perfect location for any season. You can enjoy beautiful forest and mountain views from the back deck and private hot tub. It's a wonderful place to enjoy many outdoor activities or simply relax. There is downhill skiing, sledding, snow shoeing at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort only 5 miles from the cabin. Other ski areas close to South Shore are Sierra Ski Resort and Kirkwood. South shore also has water sports and casinos/gambling are all only 5-8 miles from the cabin. There are also walking, biking trails at the end of the street and cross country skiing close by.
It's a wonderful place to visit all four seasons.

We bought our cabin in South Lake Tahoe because we truly love the area. We ski in the winter and ride our bikes and go to the lake in the summer. Spring and fall are great for hiking.

We really enjoyed your home in Tahoe. We were 3 couples and it was just perfect for the 6 of us. We really enjoyed the backyard with the deck, bbq grill and the hot tub. Also, your kitchen was stocked with everything one can ask for and we made some delicious meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the upstairs sitting area was great to hang out at night and play games!! Overall we had a perfect time including spotting a baby bear in the neighbor’s backyard. We will definitely rent your home again when we visit Tahoe. Thanks for your timely correspondence through the reservation process as well as before and after the stay. You have a great home!

Hi Bernadette, We loved your home. The trails out back were amazing and it was such a nice location. We had a couple bear encounters! On Friday night I was walking our lab before bed and couldn't figure out why she was so riled up (slipped her collar for the 1st time ever!). Your next door neighbor kindly came out and put the flashlight on the brown bear just across the street which I couldn't see in the dark! But we especially enjoyed watching a momma bear with her two little cubs in your backyard on Saturday morning. I will send some pictures along for you once I get a chance to go through them. You've definitely got at least 2 in the neighborhood b/c while she was with her cubs all morning another was spotted up the street by another neighbor. The best wildlife I've ever seen! Even beats Glacier Nat'l just in your backyard ;-) Best, Sarah
