We stayed at the casita Tomas for the month of September and enjoyed every minute. The casita was very clean and cozy; It was like a home from home. It's in a nice, quiet location within easy reach of the Plaza, shops, restaurants art galleries and much more. Rita and Tom were the perfect hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. We would definitely give it 10 out of 10, and will certainly be back for more.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed at Casita Tomas October 2012. Over a ten year period we have stayed at a number of VRBOs. This one was the best. All of the positive comments from those who have previously reviewed Casita Tomas remain true. It is very conveniently located, extremely quiet, has good lighting for reading, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and is very clean. Rita, the owner, encouraged us to report any problem promptly and was very attentive.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in Casita Tomas for the whole month of May 2012. It was puuurrrrrfect for the two of us to relax, reach so many great amenities on foot, and all the while, conduct business via the use of their Wifi and printer...our hosts even supplied the paper! Rita and Tom were very helpful, offering restaurant suggestions and museum exhibits of interest. They were most attentive to our needs and even bought and promptly installed a new modem when the Wifi was not cooperating. Rita doubles as a techie! The bed is very comfortable ... I have a bad back and it never hurt. They even supplied a gas grill for us to use. I understand that Rita and Tom are now working on a quick cure for the effects of 7,000 ft altitude!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Rita and Tom are very gracious hosts...........very helpful with lots of local knowledge. The casita is in a great location.......easy walks to galleries, museums, restaurants, historic sites. It is very comfortable for 1-2 people, good sized bedroom, small kitchen and comfortable living room. It was nice to have washer/dryer and the off-street parking was fantastic. Everything was spotless and it is well maintained. Very nice place, highly recommend it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

The casita was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood but only a few blocks walk to the Plaza and all the wonderful museums, art galleries and restaurants in Santa Fe's historic district. Rita and Tom were very welcoming hosts and provided lots of tips for enjoying Santa Fe. This was the best equipped rental we have encountered over several years of renting via VRBO and Homeaway. Rita even provided info about fitness programs at the Fort Marcie Rec center just 2 blocks walk from the casita. We would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to family and friends.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We found this casita both charming and extremely comfortable. All the necessities of home were provided: laundry detergent, freshly ground coffee, a drip coffee machine and a French press, olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper, all possible kitchen utensils and paper products. There was a washing machine, dryer, two flat screen TVs, a comfortable couch and lounge chair. The bed was very comfortable. There was wi-fi access and a printer available. Rain was predicted; Rita provided an umbrella! The casita is located three blocks from the plaza making everything within walking distance. Rita provided a plethora of information and was always available for assistance. I would definitely return and would highly recommend this rental.Did you find this review helpful? Our recent stay at Casita Tomas was wonderful in every way. The casita is charming and appointed with all of the amenities any discerning guest could want--including a fully-equiped kitchen, an on-site washer-dryer, two televisions, a charming porch and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in (we would have loved to take the mattress!). If you want to rest, this is the place. If you are a new visitor to Santa Fe, its location is perfect for exploring the city. The secure, off-street parking is perfect for travelers with cars. Rita, the owner, is a gracious host, giving her guests all the privacy they desire while making certain that they have everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. We've stayed at a number of casitas over nearly 20 years of visiting Santa Fe, and this is our favorite. We'll be back for sure.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Our two months in Santa Fe this winter has been a time of relaxation, great culinary experiences, exciting cultural and ethnic discoveries, enriching encounters, unforgettable excursions around New Mexico and (most days) brilliantly sunny skies. But what has made our stay here most memorable has been the great care and attention shown by our hosts, Rita and Tom. In the casita, they have created an oasis of comfort – with a fully-equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, two TVs (essential for maintaining marital peace!), high-speed Internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer, good heating and lighting and, most of all, their many kind attentions to add to the pleasure of our stay. As a bonus, Rita, who has lived in this area all her life, has a wealth of insider information to share on local customs and traditions, New Mexico history, the fibre arts (she is an expert weaver) and must-see places to visit. We would gladly return and will make every effort to do so.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a very nice stay at your casita. It was so clean and comfortable, quiet and in a perfect area to get around from. We tried several of your favorite restaurants and enjoyed them all. Got some Christmas shopping done, and relaxed. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Rita, the owner, was there when we arrived. The house was immaculate. The house was furnished with good taste. The kitchen included all kinds of nice dishes and cookware. The property was very close to the center of the town and was very quiet. I would recommend this rental and will rent again if I go to Santa Fe. One minor problem that we managed to work with was that the heaters in the living room and the bedroom were good quality, but noisy. The owner provides a stand alone electric heater that we used at night time.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
