Green Park is literally your front yard. A turn right will take you through Green Park to Piccadilly (the Hard Rock, The Royal Academy, the Ritz, Piccadilly Circus); a turn left will take you through Green Park to Buckingham Palace--literally 2 minutes away. Green Park Tube Stop is within minutes of the property.
You can be shopping in Knightsbridge in moments; it is only one tube stop away. The property itself is absolutely wonderful. It is positioned on the first floor and second floors of this mews building. On the first floor--up one small flight of stairs-- is the living room with hard wood floors and Persian rugs, comfortable seating, and wonderful art items everywhere including ingravings, marble sculptures, and oil paintings. The room is big and well done. The dining room has a large Jacobean table with four Chippendale chairs and two Adams chairs, silver, and fine pictures. The kitchen is modern and done in a very contemporary style offering fridge, a separate freezer, dishwasher, two ovens, and gas hob. There is a washer and a separate dryer in the drying cupboard. Up a very small flight of stairs, there are two large double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a KING-SIZE bed--really comfortable, lots of cupboards, and a marble en suite shower bathroom with shower, tub, loo, and sink. There is cable TV in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 TWIN beds, ample closets and antique chests. The second bathroom has an en suite marble shower stall and sink with the loo in a separate closet. The main floor has hard wood floors and Persian rugs; the stairs and bedroom floors have cream carpet. Cable television is also offered in the living room. This is a very special property--living with history. Wonderful paintings, engravings, silver, water colours, furniture, objects d'art are everywhere.
