Spectacular remodel on this Oceanfront one-bedroom unit located at the popular Kuhio Shores complex in Poipu. - a favorite destination for honeymoons and anniversaries! Watch sea turtles while having breakfast on your private lanai furnished with comfortably cushioned patio set or walk a few feet to one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island! The Beach House restaurant is just a few yards from the building. The restaurant offers some of the best sunset dinners on the island. There is a common laundry area and 2 elevators for your convenience. The remodel was completed in the summer of 2007 and includes all new designer furnishings, granite and marble counters, flat screen tv, custom lighting and more. The condo is also equipped with high speed wireless internet, beach towels, hair dryer, boogie board, ironing board, etc... This condo offers two sleeping areas although technically a one bedroom it is good for a couple, small family or two singles. We will have a portable crib available upon request.

Why the Owner Chose Kuhio Shores
My husband and I were married at Kee Beach on the North Shore and visited the island several times after. We used to manage vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe and many of the owners also owned property in Kauai and asked if we would be interested in starting a business here - after a couple of years we finally made the move and have been blissfully happy every since. The island has so much natural beauty and outdoor activities yet is still doesn't have that 'big resort' feel. It is a great safe place for children and also make for a perfect honeymoon or anniversary destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy here: going to the beach, surfing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, taking a boat charter along the Napali Coast, cayaking, camping, biking, etc..
I enjoy getting a spa treatment at the Anara Day Spa at the Hyatt - if you enjoy the spa the facial is perfect.
My husband and I met at culinary school and consider ourselves 'foodies'. There are some wonderful farmers markets here and fish markets with the fresh local catches of the day. Ahi is of course and island favorite and can be found at many of the restaurants throughout the island.
Whale watching is from December - April and is quite a site to see.
Some of the best golf courses in the US are located in Kauai.
We work with some activity providers that provide personalized hikes and activities that are 'off the beaten path' and truly show you what Kauai has to offer.
