Our cabin is a two story A-Frame on the first floor is living area with Lazy Boy Sleeper Sofa, dining area, bathroom, bedroom with full bed, and kitchen. The second floor has two bedrooms with queen beds.
When you step out the back door of cabin you are at ground level with a steep climb upward were you enter the 1,852,000 acre Rio Grande National Forest on the eastern slope of the Continental Divide in southern Colorado. The major drainages on the forest is the Rio Grande River about 200 yards from cabin with great fishing.
The front of the cabin has a deck across the entire front were you can sit and enjoy the majestic scenery of the mountains. Cabin is furnished with a mixture of new and old furniture with and uncluttered mountain look. You will enjoy the warmth of the woodburning heater in the living room. The cabin also has electric heat for your comfort.
Wolf Creek Ski area is 18 miles south of cabin with the most snow in Colorado. The city of Creede is 22 miles north of cabin. The Rio Grande River is 200 yards from cabin for fishing and rafting. |
