The Ilikai is a unique landmark of Waikiki, originally featured at the beginning of the original “Hawaii Five-O” TV series. The current "Hawaii Five-O" series has also filmed on location. The building is within walking distance to the restaurants, shops and beach of Waikiki strip, the Ala Moana Shopping mall (which has a Food Land grocery store), Ala Moana Beach Park and the Hawaii Convention Center. Every Friday night, free fireworks light up the Ilikai, compliments of the Hawaiian Hilton Village next-door. Our end unit is on a coveted upper floor featuring two lanais with breathtaking views of Waikiki, surrounding mountains and a partial ocean view.
Our privately owned 1200+ square foot unit was remodeled in October 2007 and has contemporary furnishings with a tropical flair. The kitchen has granite countertops and is fully supplied with microwave, glass-top stainless steel range, refrigerator, full set of non-stick cookware, 10 cup coffeemaker, rice cooker, blender, toaster, dishware and utensils.
Each bedroom has a queen bed with luxurious memory foam topper. The master bath has a pedestal sink with travertine tiled shower over tub. The guest bath includes a comfortable travertine tiled shower. Bath linens are included for your stay. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa totaling the sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests. Linens provided, including beach towels.
There is a TV with cable and DVD player in the living room. TV with cable is also available in the master bedroom. The living room and bedrooms have separate remote-controlled air-conditioning units to make your stay comfortable. We also provide several family oriented Oahu/Hawaii guidebooks for use during your stay. Each floor of the Ilikai has shared, coin operated washers and dryers. A shared swimming pool is available at the lobby level.
The Ilikai Hotel portion provides bell and valet parking service. Currently, valet parking at the hotel is $18/day. The Ilikai Marina also provides parking at a discounted rate ($17 with in and out priviledges). Limited free parking is available at a first come/first serve basis at the marina right behind the Ilikai building during the day. There is a Hertz car rental is available next door at the Hilton. If you do not rent a car during your stay, Oahu has a very well integrated public transportation system with stops immediately at the front door of the Ilikai.
Rates for our condo unit vary by high/low season. Discounts are only available for longer stays. You will find that our rates are very competitive compared to those charged by the Ilikai hotel. My Daughter and I had been planning this trip for quite some time and with other family always staying at the Ilikai it was the logical place for us and it did not disappoint. If possible we will always choose it!

Our family with 4 kids stayed a week and we've been dreaming about it ever since. The view of the city is awesome, location is perfect right by the beach, and the accomodations are perfect. This gem is well stocked with everyone one would need and the kitchen allowed us to have several meals there. Highly recommend this place. Hope to return some day.

We arrived in June 2009 for our first trip to Hawaii for my husbands military annual training. We had our two teenagers with us, ages 15 and 17, the condo was absolutely perfect for 4. We had plenty of room, great views of the mountains and lagoon/ocean. The corner condo had 3 accesses to the lanai's which allowed for plenty of views and allowed for great cross breezes. Ms Chow is a gracious and very accessible hostess, she made sure our stay was memorable and stress free. We have so many memories from that vacation, they cover one wall of our living room. We highly recommend this condo and our wonderful hostess :-)

Our family has stayed at this condo several times and we have absolutely loved it! It is a beautiful 2 bedroom condo that is very comfortable, convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We have 2 young children so it was nice to have a place that they could run around in and it was great to have a full kitchen where we could have relaxing meals together without having to go out if we didn't have the energy. We are planning to stay here whenever we are in Oahu. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the stay, it was comfortable for 6 adults, and 2 kids. It has updated bathrooms, and new carpet. Its on the upper floor so noise is minimal. Away from the major traffic yet close to the beach, park and the mall. We definitely consider this rental again at our next visit.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property for our first Hawaii vacation. It was spacious (larger than what we expected), well-maintained and clean. It was true to the information we received and all our questions were addressed honestly and quickly by the owner. Everything worked with no problems. It was well worth the price we paid for our week stay. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

For something that is renovated still needs some major work, clean enough though. Pull out bed is terrible, says it is new but horrible to sleep on you can feel every spring in a very cheap mattress. No access to the hotels fitness room which is extremely disappointing for those that are looking to stay fit.
Owner response:Note to all our guests- while our condo does share the same building as the Ilikai Hotel, our unit is privately owned and is NOT part of the hotel. We have never advertised that the hotel fitness room would be available to any of our clients. We sincerely apologize if this was an expectation of this guest. There is a shared pool at the lobby level that is available to guests staying in the privately owned condos. We did put in new carpeting July 2010 to replace original carpet that had been abused by some of our clients. As always, we appreciate your feedback and aim to make your stay pleasant and relaxing!
