This is a fully refurbished cottage where everything is new, even the 30’ x 14’ decking!
It is has a very warm and cozy atmosphere, especially in the winter with the log burner stove and the radiant floor heating! And in the heat of the summer we have those lovely cool mountain breezes to cool you down. We are on a beautiful mountain hillside over looking the town of Penticton and the Okanagan Valley in one of Canada’s many stunning and beautiful landscapes, but what makes the Okanagan so special? the climate! In July – August the summers can reach an incredible 38! Unbelievable, I know but its true, and as we live above the snow line the winters are always white powder! What more could one ask for.
We are on 10 acres of gorgeous scenery surrounded by Pine and Fir trees backing on to crown land, where you can access 1000’s of kilometers of trails, and our trail starts right at your cottage door!
If you are looking for winter sports/activities, then you won’t be disappointed with Apex Mountain Ski resort only 40 minutes away and where the 2006 world freestyle championships where held. You can also try Mount Baldy or Big White, both just a short drive away and all excellent for down hill or snow boarding.
But maybe, you are just looking to find that special place, where you can relax and enjoy the countryside. Well here you will find that, plus one of the worlds best kept secrets, the Okanagan Wine! We have some of the world’s top class wines in our valley! And most of the Wineries have excellent quality restaurants with world class Chefs, you will not be disappointed!
In the summer there is nothing more soothing than waking up to the fresh smell of the mountain pine and watching the deer strolling by. Then take a short leisurely drive down the hill taking in the best views in the area down to the beach for a swim or stroll along the beautiful sandy beach under the shade of the tree lined promenade.
