This is a fully refurbished cottage where everything is new, even the 30’ x 14’ decking!

It is has a very warm and cozy atmosphere, especially in the winter with the log burner stove and the radiant floor heating! And in the heat of the summer we have those lovely cool mountain breezes to cool you down. We are on a beautiful mountain hillside over looking the town of Penticton and the Okanagan Valley in one of Canada’s many stunning and beautiful landscapes, but what makes the Okanagan so special? the climate! In July – August the summers can reach an incredible 38! Unbelievable, I know but its true, and as we live above the snow line the winters are always white powder! What more could one ask for.

We are on 10 acres of gorgeous scenery surrounded by Pine and Fir trees backing on to crown land, where you can access 1000’s of kilometers of trails, and our trail starts right at your cottage door!
If you are looking for winter sports/activities, then you won’t be disappointed with Apex Mountain Ski resort only 40 minutes away and where the 2006 world freestyle championships where held. You can also try Mount Baldy or Big White, both just a short drive away and all excellent for down hill or snow boarding.

But maybe, you are just looking to find that special place, where you can relax and enjoy the countryside. Well here you will find that, plus one of the worlds best kept secrets, the Okanagan Wine! We have some of the world’s top class wines in our valley! And most of the Wineries have excellent quality restaurants with world class Chefs, you will not be disappointed!

In the summer there is nothing more soothing than waking up to the fresh smell of the mountain pine and watching the deer strolling by. Then take a short leisurely drive down the hill taking in the best views in the area down to the beach for a swim or stroll along the beautiful sandy beach under the shade of the tree lined promenade.

June 28th - July 11th ..        $2000 per week / $670 W/End.

3 Night min stay. We always have a white Christmas!
50% Deposit at booking, balance due 1 month prior to arrival.

  • What a great experience! The welcome greeting and the extra special basket & baked goods were very much appreciated. We will treasure the time spent in “The Cottage”, and we will try to come back and exchange recipes when we return to the Okanagan again. Although we were on an “Adults Only” wine weekend with five other friends, we wish that we could have brought our three kids so that they could enjoy the wilderness, the waterfall, and your pool. We had a lovely time PLUS the price was worth it!! We will be telling all of our friends about our getaway and hopefully they will get a chance to enjoy your little home away from home.   • We have stayed in a number of vacation rentals and none have come close to matching the quality and service we experienced at this lovely Penticton cottage! The home is beautiful to be in, incredibly well equipped, quiet and dark at night, close to nature, convenient to town. It was great. And then, not to raise expectations, the service was amazing. Basic provisions were supplied when we got there and then little presents kept showing up - desserts, wine, a parting picnic. Unbelievable. The hosts, Glen, Nobuko and their children are warm and generous people. All-in-all we give it two thumbs up!

  • Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a modern décor. Every need has been anticipated; the kitchen was fully furnished with beautiful dishes and appliances and home made bread and cookies were wonderful. We had forgotten a toothbrush and appreciated that toothbrushes, soaps, and other necessities were beautifully displayed and available for us. The linens and bedrooms were high quality and the fresh flowers and plants made the place very welcoming. This is an excellent place for a couple of couples or families to meet to explore the Okanagan valley- we did wine tours and then we retreated to this beautiful home away from home. The hosts were exceptional. We had our dog with us and we really enjoyed exploring the surrounding mountain with wonderful hikes.

Penticton and the surrounding area are beautiful and the wineries are up and coming. The cottage was spacious and welcoming. The pool is great as well. I would highly recommend this property.

  • Our stay at the cottage was amazing, its on a beautiful property with lots of wild life that like to come around. We stayed for one week during august/08, it was very relaxing and very peaceful. The family does live on the property and is fairly close to the cottage, but that did not effect our stay at all; as the family (including their kids) were VERY good at giving us privacy, their kids were polite and quite. I would definitely recommend this cottage, it is a little bit from town but it is a gorgeous drive. The view at the cottage is also amazing, there is a nice big patio, with an amazing view perfect for watching the sunset.

  • Immaculate "cottage", beautiful and peaceful location. We had a wonderful time and would recommend anyone to vacation here. We were far enough away from the City to enjoy nature, but if we wanted to get in to town it was a short drive. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful! P.S. We will miss Jinny!
