Dry Creek Villa was completed early 2008. Most pictures shown here were taken October 2011. Since its opening, guest reviews confirm the villa to be a truly exceptional, idyllic retreat! We consistently rate 5/5 stars from prior guests. Among the various comparable options in the Healdsburg environs, Dry Creek Villa is totally without comparison: New, modern, private, sophisticated and luxurious.
Perched on a hilltop about a mile up a rustic private road and behind automatic gates, this secluded & modern 2BR, 1BA guest house comfortably sleeps 4 - up to 6 people max - and is the perfect retreat in rural wine country. It's just 12 minutes to the downtown Healdsburg plaza and is neighbor to many local wineries. Lake Sonoma is also 10 minutes up the valley, and the iconic Dry Creek General Store is a short drive away.
The Villa's two stylish bedrooms are both furnished with contemporary queen-size platform beds, ultra-comfy premium mattress and quality linens for a restful night's sleep. There's also a clock radio dock for your iPod in each bedroom and room-darkening shades to enjoy a lazy morning in bed.
The spacious modern bathroom with vessel sink and over sized shower with room for two is not connected to either bedroom, making it convenient for all guests. Fluffy towels and robes make you feel right at home.
The full electric kitchen with granite counters comes complete with all the accessories to prepare light snacks or a complete gourmet feast, while a dishwasher helps make cleanup a breeze. Outdoors, there's a gas BBQ avail-ably seasonally to grill your favorite foods.
The vaulted, airy main room with its bamboo flooring has a rectangular dining table that seats up to six. There's also a pull-out sofabed that converts to an additional sleeping platform and two comfy Fatboy beanbag chairs that completely meld to your body after a full day of wine tasting. For entertainment, there's an AV receiver +iPod connection, and a flat screen TV with a DVD/VCR player and DirecTV satellite with 100's of channels for your viewing enjoyment.
If business calls, there is a built-in desk for use with your laptop to connect to the available Wi-Fi broadband connection throughout the villa. Locals calls can also be made from the in-house phone.
Guest passes to the full-featured Parkpoint Health Club in Healdsburg are available for $20/person/visit.
After a long day's adventures, soak yourself in the secluded, six-person hot tub under the deep starry sky and then rinse off under the private outdoor hot-water shower. By prior arrangements made during your stay, you may also take a dip in the 48 ft. solar-heated lap swimming pool at the main house nearby on the property (from approximately May until September).

We (two couples) had an excellent experience at this rental property. As it was our first stay, you always wonder if the listing description and pictures are accurate. We found the actual property to be better than described. The decoration was clean and of high quality; especially for a vacation rental. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of wine tasting. Everything from plush robes to extra towels for the hot tub was provided and of high quality. The owners communication was great leading up to the stay and then emailing us during the stay to make sure there were no problems. We will definately return!

My friends and I have a wonderful weekend at the dry creek villa, and look forward to our next girls trip. The villa was bright, and clean with gorgeous views, it truly was the most peaceful place I have been. Bill and Scott, greeted us upon our arrival, showed us around the grounds and lite the property. This was our second stay at the DCV. The place is well maintained with great views. We have throughly enjoyed the peace and serenity. It is a great place to relax and de-stress. We look forward to another visit.

Had a great time here over the summer. The hot tub is totally great and the views from the property were amazing. Its a little bit out of downtown Healdsburg, but it was very quiet and we saw so many stars while taking an evening dip in the hot tub that the distance wasn't a big deal. There were six of us, with two on the sofa bed, which seemed to work out alright for our one night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Me and three friends came out for a half marathon, and we all had a great time at the villa. The views were lovely, the property was clean and up to date, and the beds were comfortable. We couldn't ask for more after our run. Oh wait, we could, and we got it, a nice warm hut tub. We were close to many vineyards and drove into town a number of times to eat and shop. Overall, we had an excellent trip, and the accomodations couldn't have been better.

Dear Bill and Scott, Magical and Incredible are two words to describe Dry Creek Villa. My brother, his wife and I came up on a beautiful September week and could not believe the beauty of the property. Pictures do not give it justice as the views, the air, the secluded location (Yet close to Healdsburg Center) and the attention to detail in the design and decor and the views are magestic. Waking up in the morning to those views were a wonderful start of the day to go around Sonoma, Dry Creek and one day we did our own little trip to Napa ( which was only 45 mins-1 hr away). I enjoyed the Hot Tub very much too on the cooler nights and we relaxed and rested and it was all around wonderful. It was also my brother and sister in law's fist trip to California from their homes in the Caribbean and they LOVED the place and we will be back next year. Thank you again for all you proviced for us.

Dry Creek Villa is in the perfect location - far enough to get away from it all, and close enough that can enjoy town as if you are staying there (we did dinner one night in town and one night at the Villa). There is something magical about waking up in a winery, with beautiful sunshine and an amazing view - could be Tuscany.... or Dry Creek California. It's also incredibly well done. New, well appointed, good instructions, great kitchen, beds and bath, and best of all - Scott and Bill are welcoming and warm, like you are friends of theirs dropping by for a visit. And, it's private enough to do your own thing. We appreciate their attention to our stay and warm welcome. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you! Sarah & David
