Dry Creek Villa was exactly as advertised and more. The house was well-designed and comfortable for myself and 4 guests. The grounds were stunning and it was a prefect retreat after a long day of wine tasting and traveling around Sonoma County. Bill was a fantastic host and more than helpful with any questions we had. We would most definitely stay here again.

We (two couples) had an excellent experience at this rental property. As it was our first stay, you always wonder if the listing description and pictures are accurate. We found the actual property to be better than described. The decoration was clean and of high quality; especially for a vacation rental. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of wine tasting. Everything from plush robes to extra towels for the hot tub was provided and of high quality. The owners communication was great leading up to the stay and then emailing us during the stay to make sure there were no problems. We will definately return!

My friends and I have a wonderful weekend at the dry creek villa, and look forward to our next girls trip. The villa was bright, and clean with gorgeous views, it truly was the most peaceful place I have been. Bill and Scott, greeted us upon our arrival, showed us around the grounds and lite the property. It was more than I could have imagined. Thank you for making it such a memorable trip!

Me and three friends came out for a half marathon, and we all had a great time at the villa. The views were lovely, the property was clean and up to date, and the beds were comfortable. We couldn't ask for more after our run. Oh wait, we could, and we got it, a nice warm hut tub. We were close to many vineyards and drove into town a number of times to eat and shop. Overall, we had an excellent trip, and the accomodations couldn't have been better.

Dry Creek Villa is in the perfect location - far enough to get away from it all, and close enough that can enjoy town as if you are staying there (we did dinner one night in town and one night at the Villa). There is something magical about waking up in a winery, with beautiful sunshine and an amazing view - could be Tuscany.... or Dry Creek California. It's also incredibly well done. New, well appointed, good instructions, great kitchen, beds and bath, and best of all - Scott and Bill are welcoming and warm, like you are friends of theirs dropping by for a visit. And, it's private enough to do your own thing. We appreciate their attention to our stay and warm welcome. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you! Sarah & David

Dear Bill and Scott, Magical and Incredible are two words to describe Dry Creek Villa. My brother, his wife and I came up on a beautiful September week and could not believe the beauty of the property. Pictures do not give it justice as the views, the air, the secluded location (Yet close to Healdsburg Center) and the attention to detail in the design and decor and the views are magestic. Waking up in the morning to those views were a wonderful start of the day to go around Sonoma, Dry Creek and one day we did our own little trip to Napa ( which was only 45 mins-1 hr away). I enjoyed the Hot Tub very much too on the cooler nights and we relaxed and rested and it was all around wonderful. It was also my brother and sister in law's fist trip to California from their homes in the Caribbean and they LOVED the place and we will be back next year. Thank you again for all you proviced for us.

Had a great time here over the summer. The hot tub is totally great and the views from the property were amazing. Its a little bit out of downtown Healdsburg, but it was very quiet and we saw so many stars while taking an evening dip in the hot tub that the distance wasn't a big deal. There were six of us, with two on the sofa bed, which seemed to work out alright for our one night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Bill & Scott have set up the Villa in a very thoughtful way. The towels and linens are top-shelf. The kitchen well-equipped, w/ ground fresh coffee at the ready. The bathroom and other rooms are spotless, as are the grounds (gas grill clean and ready); hot tub under the stars is lovely. This is our second year here and Bill and Scott have made improvements to make the visit even more care-free. We recommend the Village very highly. And we'll be back for a third year soon...

We stayed at the property in a group of 5 adults and had plenty of space. It's beautifully decorated, perfectly located and its situation among the vines, on top of a hill gives lovely views of the valley. The secluded, private hot tub is another bonus. We enjoyed barbequing and relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine after a day's cycling. The local wineries were all excellent, so there's no need to go far if you're not steady on two wheels (or 4) after a few tastings. We loved it, and will definitely be back!
Owner response:Sian, glad you enjoyed your stay and hope your group makes it back again. cheers B&S

The Dry Creek Villa was a great place to spend New Years. While the home is rather small, we had 4-6 people staying there and we didn't feel crowded. We made dinner at the house on New Years Eve and found all the kitchen utensils and appliances that we needed. What we couldn't find, Bill brought over from his home. The hottub was a lovely way to end a day of winetasting and the robes and cozy towels were a decadent touch. The electronics were also a big plus. We've rented many a house that has barely a clock radio or has electronics that don't work correctly. And who can celebrate New Years without music! Although we are very familiar with the Healdsburg area, there was a lot of information on wineries, restaurants, etc. at the house. We had a lovely dinner at Barndiva and a great lunch at the Charcuterie both in downtown Healdsburg. We did a bit of winetasting and I'd say that Armida winery was the hands down favorite. We are planning on making it a picnic stop the next time we visit during warmer months. I must note that while planning our New Years Eve dinner with our friends, we texted Bill several times with questions regarding the kitchen accessories and he always answered promptly and happily. Thanks for a great stay. We'll be back! It's a bit out of the way but after driving up the dirt road a few times, we got used to it.

Magnificient setting with great views, an outdoor hottub for relaxing after visiting the wineries, and all the amenities. With grapes on the vines on the property, it is hard to describe the setting without being there. Star gazing was the best I have ever seen, with the clear skies and no light pollution. Easy commute into town or to the many wineries in the Dry Creek Valley. We would recommend the Villa to anyone interested in visiting the wine region of Northern California.

Bill and Scott have put together a lovely cabin/retreat, which feels a lot like a 4-star hotel suite. Everything is well-thought-out, from two sets of towels for each guest, to the plush linens / high end mattresses. The bath/shower is very high-end too, but we used the lovely outdoor shower just as much, because, well, it was near the very clean hot tub. The cabin is set up so the breeze whips through at night, yet there is a powerful AC unit for the days. Views? Fabulous. The porch is a great place to read and write. And it's all very private. Yet you can be in town in 15 minutes, or at any of a number of delightful nearby wineries within minutes. (The property is up a dirt road, far off the paved main road but there is a code-key gate to the provides a feeling of real security.) We would recommend this very highly. And our hosts were extremely courteous and generous to us. We couldn't have had a better stay.

Great place to relax and get away from it all, while still being close enough to enjoy great wine and food. We live in a secluded area and it is difficult to find a place so clean with as much quiet as we can enjoy at home. The house is perfectly appointed for relaxation and feeling at home. The kitchen is great for preparing a 'real' meal or just coffee and a light breakfast. I love it here, with my girlfriends or my family.

We spent a weekend at the Dry Creek Villa and we couldn't have been happier. The pictures looked great but you never know what to expect - in fact, the place was even nicer than the photos. Newly remodeled, granite counter tops, lovely hot tub overlooking the vineyard (complete w/ cozy bathrobes), comfortable beds, and perfect for 5 girls looking for a weekend wine country getaway. It's a few miles removed from the main drag so it's perfectly secluded and quiet but also just 12 minutes to town and just a few miles from 50+ vineyards. The owners were very helpful and accommodating as we arranged the trip and completely left us alone while we were there. In short I have no complaints. I have every intention of recommending to others and I hope to return myself!
