Our lovely community of Pine Island shores is located at the southern tip of the island. By water the entrance to the community is directly across from Tarpon Bay on Sanibel Island and between the two islands lies the intercoastal waterway. We have deep water access and can accommodate up to a 45 foot vessel, or a 25 foot under cover.
Pine Island is abundant with wildlife and the surrounding waters and estuaries plentiful with gamefish. Tarpon, snook, redfish, trout, grouper, snaper, pompano, cobia and spanish mackerel are just some of the species roaming our waters. Manatees and dolphins visit right behind our home. The fish like to gather under the shade of the boathouse, large sheephead (excellent eating fish) feed on the oysters growing on the seawall. Kayaking is excellent!! The sandy flats and dense mangroves just minutes away are great for fishing.Our local waterfront restaurants are just blocks away, reasonable prices, great food and music.
