Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Park
In a large part we were drawn by the peaceful and private "woodsy" atmosphere of the home.
For winter use it is near several ski resorts.
For summer use it is near many good fishing and hiking areas.Plus our
Association's private beach, piers and recreation area is great.

The Koontz Family purchased this Home in 1980 and currently we are into the fifth
generation of family users from the ages of ninety two, to two and a half.
Six years ago we completed extensive remodeling to expand to our growing family's needs. We believe we have succeeded in building a warm, comfortable and friendly family retreat.

My family and our close friends have stayed at this cabin for the past two New Years' weeks. It's a great house in terms of layout-3 bedrooms downstairs, a large living space, bathroom and great kitchen on the main level, and the rest of the bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of parking in the driveway. Easy drive to Tahoe City and other west shore destinations. The photos look just like what was at the house, but there's so much more. The kitchen was very well stocked, with every appliance and gadget available. The bedrooms have nice linens and the beds are very comfy. Great deck off the living room. The owner has been just wonderful to us, and is always easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to others.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have stayed here both in the summer and winter many times, and have always felt it to be a home away from home. The house is wonderfully spacious and comfortable, and the location perfect: far enough up the moutain to feel quiet and private, but just a 3 minute drive down to the beach (along with gorgeous views!), Sunnyside Inn (great place for dinner on the lake) and a small local store (food/video rentals). The property has always been spotless upon arrival and well-maintained; beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in -- we highly recommend a stay here! It will be a vacation to remember!
