Thanks so much! We loved the cabin and had a wonderful time. We also appreciate you letting us check out any time on Sunday, it was a huge help. As we are now packing and cleaning up to go home tomorrow we want to thank you again for renting your house to us. We love this house and hope we've taken good care of it to your standards. Hi Walt, Hi Walt, Great cabin. We had a wonderful family weekend. All went well. You're quite the fisherman, huh? Nice trout, man! Check out the pic attached from August 2011. I took the kids on a guided boat out of Tahoe City early one morning and we ate like kings for a week!! Obviously, the skipper was VERY knowledgeable - I have his contact info if you're interested. Hi Walt, Wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your place. The house and location were just great. With the heavy and storms that week, 80 was closed for several hours making it a 10 hr trip and didn't get to the house until the following day. Never know what Mother Nature is gonna do I guess. Hello Walt, I wanted to thank you for a very pleasant stay at Pine Ridge! We will definitly consider staying again next year! The cabin was spacious (we filled every bed) and had a great location! Thanks again so much. All in my group raved about the place and very much enjoyed our time there. Especially my Gabby who stated "this is the best day ever" while making her first snow angel. Hi Walt! Just back from the cabin in Tahoe, and as before, it was great! We had so much snow and it was really cold -1 on the day we skiied at Northstar!). The deck was completely snowed in, so had to be dug out when we arrived and then the storm on Tuesday brought even more snow. I will be back in touch with you about next year. Our friends from So Cal who come up with us are looking into having us all go to Mammoth Mountain to try that out (and save themselves a LONG drive north) so i'll have to let you know if we want to reserve for next year. About the owner: The Koontz Family purchased this Home in 1980 and currently we are into the fifth generation of family users from the ages of ninety two, to two and a half. Six years ago we completed extensive remodeling to expand to our growing family's needs. We believe we have succeeded in building a warm, comfortable and friendly family retreat. In a large part we were drawn by the peaceful and private 'woodsy' atmosphere of the home.
