Our 2 story beach house has a beautiful view of Rocky Cove at the end of the beach, from both the house and the large deck. This is a great house for families to enjoy the unique beauties of the Oregon Coast. We are a block from the beach access, and from there, you can walk the 7 mile beach and explore a stunning cove...with its tidepools and caves. There are many varieties of seabirds, starfish, crabs and other small wildlife. We also often see the eagles that nest in the trees overlooking the cove. Behind the house is the Siuslaw National Forest. You'll enjoy the house on sunny summer days, but also in the winter, when storm watching is at its best. Deer often wander from the woods and graze on the grass in the front yard.
The house has 4 bedrooms (one of which is a "family" bedroom with a queen and set of twin beds). We provide wood for the fireplaces, so you can curl up by a fire and read (lots of books provided as well). The family room downstairs has TV, DVD player, fireplace. Upstairs, a cozy nook for reading, living room with breathtaking views, TV, DVD player, stereo with iPod dock, and fireplace.
