Village at Roslyn Ridge Condo

Year Purchased: 2007

Why the Owner Chose Roslyn

We love every season at our condo - it is always beautiful and peaceful! There are great family owned restaurants in the area, as well as resort restaurants and amenities at the Suncadia Resort. It's such a quick drive over the mountains for us from the Seattle area, we just couldn't resist making it our home away from home.

A
The Brick

One of the oldest bars in Washington. Good basic food - burgers, wings, salads. Great drinks, local beers. Amazing live bands! Visiting during a quiet time? Ask to see the jail cells in the basement.

B
Village Pizza

Delicious hometown pizza... and if the kitchen is closed at The Brick, Village Pizza will deliver!

C
Roslyn Cafe

Northwest flair added to classic dishes. Local artist work displayed.

D
Roslyn Brewery

Two brews bottled - the Brookside (pale) and the Roslyn (dark). Served on tap in multiple locations, but visit the brewery for specialty and test brews.

E
Roslyn Theater

Current releases - 1 or 2 movies rotated, lounge style seating.

F
Cafe Cicely

Stop by for an ice cream cone - strawberry is a favorite!

G
The Lodge at Suncadia

Alex Paguaga, Chef de Cuisine at Portals Restaurant, creates amazing dishes - regional foods that follow the seasons, with an added personal flare. Delicious, and worth every penny. The views are amaz

H
Pioneer Coffee Roasting Company

They roast their own... and it's delicious! Check out their Thursty Thursdays wine tasting.

I
El Caporal

Good service, delicious food. Personal favorite? The chile relleno.

Owner's Map of Roslyn

Like most people, we love to vacation but often have difficulty finding the time. We decided a vacation would help prompt us to get away... and it has! We love playing golf, biking, hiking and the occasional game of shuffleboard at the Brick.

Great getaway!

Guest: Kirsti (Seattle)
Date of Stay: 07/31/11 Review Submitted: 11/30/11

fabulous place for a get away! Visited with my family this past summer, after not being able to afford where we normally go. We were looking for something reasonably priced, great quality and something with a pool! This place was awesome. None of us wanted to leave and my sister even asked when we were going to return! The town of roslyn was small, but had cute shops, and amazing restaurants. The condo and activity center was just what we were looking for. great kitchen, enough space for all 5 of us! Loved the convenience and security of the garage! They allow pets, but if you are not a pet lover, you would never know there had been pets there! We cannot wait to return!!!!

Great Weekend Getaway!

Guest: Bill (Seattle, WA)
Date of Stay: 09/24/10 Review Submitted: 10/22/10

A wonderful weekend (or longer if you have time) hiking on a spectacular day, exploring historical Roslyn, visiting the just-opened winery at Suncadia, and just soaking up the beautiful mountain air! The condo had plenty of room for two couples and we ran out of time, not things to do or enjoy.

Fabulous getaway just to relax

Guest: Tracy (Bothell, WA)
Date of Stay: 08/26/10 Review Submitted: 09/28/10

This place was just what we were looking for......... a nice quiet "getaway" from Seattle, but still close enough to quaint little towns & the views were spectacular!!! The condo was fabulous, wasn't too big or too small for my husband, dog & I. :) The beds were comfy, the kitchen was HUGE & we loved sitting out on the covered deck as we watched the rain. Even though, the community seemed somewhat large, when we stayed in August, it appeared that not very many residents were there at the time & those that were very respective & quiet. The dog has already asked when we can go again, we LOVE the place & plan to come back!!! Thank you!!

Great escape for a girls' weekend!

Guest: Girls Group (Issaquah, WA)
Date of Stay: 05/15/09 Review Submitted: 09/27/10

My friends and I have enjoyed this condo a few times for a girls' weekend. The drive from Seattle is beautiful and surprisingly quick. The condo itself is comfortable, quiet, and meticulously maintained, with everything we needed to cook and eat in all weekend. We had plenty of room to set up folding tables and spread out our scrapbooking supplies. Outside the condo, we enjoyed running, hiking, and visiting the local spa in Cle Elum (do not miss Sister Moon Spa, it is on of the best we have visited!) This is a great spot for a getaway, with so much to do and see and a fantastic place to stay!

Home away from Home

Guest: Lou and rubs (Cincinnati)
Date of Stay: 11/13/09 Review Submitted: 04/02/10

The condo was the perfect get away from a long season of stress, challenges and the daily grind. The condo was clean, well stocked with all of the needed amenities which included a great club house, swimming pool, spa, hiking areas, a cute town, and the perfect porch to take an afternoon nap. All in all, the condo felt like a home away from home and the perfect spot to escape too. We are very grateful to have found it!! See you in a few months!
