Come and enjoy the true splendor of the Black Hills! Great Pines Guest house,a private vacation home is situated on 4.18 acres. This beautiful property features wonderful views of Meadows, forest and a pond, from 2 fully furnished decks and a Gazebo. There are plenty of trees for shade and open areas for the sun lovers. A private six person, state of the art hot tub is provided for your relaxation.

Just minutes from Custer, SD. This brand new, fully furnished 3 bedroom home is log sided and rustic on the outside and completely modern on the inside. The master suite features a king bed, full private bath, and 32" LCD TV with HD Satellite Receiver with DVR. The two other guest rooms have queen beds and are right next to a bath with a jetted tub/shower combo. This bath also features a sky light and at night you can enjoy the stars while relaxing in the jetted spa tub. The baths are stocked with blow dryers, plenty of towels and soaps. The queen sofa sleeper and convertible bed complete the sleeping arrangements. The kitchen and dining area also have great views. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking utensils, drip coffee maker and dishware is furnished. Living room has plenty of seating, windows, and a HD Satellite Receiver with DVR connected to a 50" Plasma TV. There is a gas grill on the deck, for your outdoor grilling pleasure.

For those who need to stay connected, we offer an in home computer with Broadband internet connection and WIFI through out.


Historic and major attractions include: Custer, SD, Courthouse museum, Custer State Park, Black hills Playhouse live theater, Needles Highway, Cathedral Spires, Harney Peak, Sylvan Lake, Stockade Lake, Legion Lake, Center Lake, Iron Mountain Road(pigtail bridges), Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Rocky Knolls Golf course, mini golf, theme park. In Hill city, enjoy the 1880 train with a ride to Keystone, SD. Sturgis Bike Week.

Peak Season: May 25-Aug 31   $275/night .. $1900/week  (plus 5.5% sales tax)
Off Season:  Sep 01-May 24   $175/night .. $1190/week  (plus 5.5% sales tax)
Rally Week                   $275/night .. $1900/week  (plus 5.5% sales tax)
Rates based on 4 guests, $25/night for each additional guest
3 night minimum Stay, some 2 night stay possible for small groups. 50% deposit
to hold reservation.  Cancellations made 45 days prior to arrival will be refunded
less $100 booking.  If less than 45 days, money refunded if property can be
rerented.

    • We really enjoyed our stay in your property! It was very comfortable for our family. We enjoyed not being in a traditional hotel setting. We all enjoyed the hot tub and seeing the deer every day. Our kids liked having the big screen with all the channels. We had everything we needed to make nightly meals using the grill and after a long day out and about, it was nice to have the deck, trees and view. You really thought of everything! We couldn't have asked for anything more: from the moment I spoke to Susan about renting it, to arriving at the place, seeing how clean and well-equipped it was, to actually meeting Susan/puppies, I couldn't have been more pleased! Susan has thought of everything for enjoying your visit in the Beautiful Mts of SD. LOVED! LOVED! LOVED! Being from NJ and not knowing the area, Susan and her home made my husband and I feel right at Home! Would Highly Recommend!

    • We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our family vacation in Oct'08! The house alone is beautiful, but add to it the surrounding property, and it's amazing! The kids loved seeing the deer and turkey right on the property, and we were so central to all of the sites in the area. We will be staying here again on our next trip to South Dakota! Thank you Brad and Susan for helping to make our vacation truely memorable!

    • Brad and Susan went above and beyond to accommodate our needs!! The house was wonderful! It was so close to Custer, but also felt very secluded and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and big screen TV! The hot tub felt really nice after each day of bicycling through the Black Hills on the Mickelson trail trek. Everything that we needed was there, too. I would recommend this house to anyone! Thanks for everything, Brad and Susan! We hope to come back soon!

    • This was a great place for our family get togather. The location was great, close to town but not loud or busy. It exceeds all discriptions in the ad. The owners were always available and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. We were able to attend, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Hwy, P. Norbeck Rd.,The Wilderness Loop, Jewel Cave, The Antique Train, A round of golf, and still see plenty of bikes and shop around town. All this in 3 days !!!!! WOW!!! Thank you, Brad and Susan for making our family vacation in the Black Hills one we will always remember. Blessings Mark and Family
