We just returned from a fabulous 2-night stay at the aptly named "Treehouse". The owner, Tracy, could not have been more gracious and accommodating to our group: 2 couples plus kids. The property is gorgeous, very well maintained, and the garden is beautifully intimate, reflecting the owner's artistic aesthetic (ours too!). Beds were very comfortable, linens and towels ample and the decor inspired us to add more personal, artistic touches to our own homes. The boys could not get enough of Tracy's menagerie of tiny animals, particularly her darling, blustery Chihuahua. And the location is exactly what we were looking for. A block and a half from Abbot Kinney Blvd, a 10-minute walk to the beach. If you want to explore Venice mostly on foot or by bicycle, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
