However, not everyone knows of our great food, multiple restaurants, world class off shore and inland fishing, 15 golf courses, fabulous protected waters for boating and sailing, multiple historic attractions, bargain shopping, museums, festivals, and entertainment and cultural attractions in Baldwin County and nearby Mobile and Pensacola. That is why you will want to come back.
Let Caribe Resort be your vacation home on the beach. It is centrally located on the Gulf Coast and is a 23 acre, 24 hour gated, kid friendly atmosphere with something for everyone. There are more amenities than anywhere else on the beach, has been thru two hurricanes with minimal damage, and boast fine on site management with five star housekeeping. Amenity descriptions and details of the resort are on their web site. That is why you will want to stay here and no where else.
Our condo is 1600 sq ft two bedroom unit in building "D" on the eighth floor facing west. Views to the left are of the beach, surf, and Perdido Pass and to the right are of Terry Cove/Bayou St. John and Bear Point. The balcony overlooks two of the three multi-leveled pools. It is comfortably furnished and includes bed and bath linens, initial soaps and paper products. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa and swivel chairs in front of the ceiling to floor tinted glass windows.
The gourmet kitchen has stainless double sink, and stainless Kitchenaid appliances including 42" side by side refrigerator/freezer, ceramic electric cook top, microwave, convection oven, warming drawer, large dishwasher, garbage disposal, and all the utensils needed for doing your own cooking. There is a stand alone wet bar with ice maker and wine cooler. The granite top counter has 4 high stools, the round dining room table seats 6. There is a king bed in the master and a queen bed in the guest bed room. The master bath has a large Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, glass walled multi-headed shower, granite counter top with twin bowls, and a huge walk in closet. There are 3 TVs, VCRs, DVDs, and in the living room there is a stereo tuner/amplifier. There are Kitchenaid full size washer and dryer, high efficiency air conditioner and heater, over 110 cable TV channels, high speed T-1 internet, and voice mail telephone. This is why you will hate to leave!

Why the Owner Chose Caribe Resort
Clean, broad white sand beaches with beautiful blue-green water in family oriented vacation area within 6 hour drive of most of the Southeast US. Great fishing, great golfing, great boating, fabulous restaurants, close to Mobile and Pensacola with art and entertainment, excellent health care facilities, and Navy base with commissary, exchange, and hospital. Excellent general aviation facility at Gulf Shores as well as commercial aviation at Pensacola and Mobile.

We have vacationed on the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast for 30 years and with our four children decided to purchase a vacation home at Caribe in 2003. We all love being here and now with 12 grands had to expand to 4 condos so we would have enough room. We keep 2 units for frequent long week ends and rent 2 which we use 3 or 4 times a year when we are all together. We will never be able to duplicate the wonderful memories of being together and getting to know each other at Caribe as the grands grow older.
