Ocean View East is the big purple house between mile markers 4 and 5 on Fort Morgan Road. This is a 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath duplex with an adjoining door to Ocean View West that can been opened if you should need both sides for large gatherings. This unit is brightly decorated and sleeps 14 comfortably (the bedrooms are quite roomy).
There are two decks that overlook the pool and have a great view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The pool is shared with Ocean View West. The water is only about 150 yards from the house and you do not have to cross or even get on any road to get there - very safe for children. Two master bedrooms are upstairs with their own balcony over-looking the pool. There is one master bedroom downstairs for those that do not want to deal with more stairs!
The pool is only 5 feet deep at its deepest. There are many lounge chairs and other seating around the pool. The pool is gated. There is an outdoor shower to use before entering the pool or going upstairs.
This house is very "Kid friendly". We also accept small pets between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
The living area is large enough so that everyone can gather to watch TV, play games, etc. Each master bedroom has a king-size bed and a private bath. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a twin on top it also has a private bath. There is a half bath along with a washer and dryer on the main floor.
This is a non smoking unit and we do not rent to student groups. There is parking under the house for 6 cars and plenty of parking outside. We require a $200 deposit. Check our bargains for the winter months! We live about 45 minutes away between Foley and Fairhope just off Highway 98. We try to keep the home filled with all that you need, but if you find you need anything we will try our best to get it to you.

We stayed in the Purple House East for several days after Labor Day this year. The pictures and description listed simply don't do justice for this beautiful property! Everything we needed for a relaxing, comfy stay was right there and the area was incredibly peaceful. My husband, myself and our furry "kids" had the best vacation that we've ever had! Thanks, Jeannie, for being so friendly and helpful, can't wait for our trip down next year!! Planning our yearly trip to the beach is one of my favorite things to do and we will never again have to search for the perfect place to stay. You have vacation renters for life with us!

We stayed at Purple house east with our group of 2 families (10 people). It was very spacious and well equipped with many extras like beach toys, grills, extra large ice maker, wine chilling cabinet. The pictures on the web site don't accurately represent how nice the house is. The beach is beautiful - clean, wide, fine white sand. Thanks Jeannie and Ed for the cookies and the great memories.

I rented the east side of the Purple House for my family for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a great place for us to enjoy spending some time together. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. I would highly recommend staying in the Purple House!

I just got back from staying in this house yesterday. My family and I rented the east side and the west side, and really enjoyed it. I stayed on the east side, and I LOVED the decorations. The walls were so pretty, and it felt like home. It was so perfect for our big family. Thanks so much!

We just returned from a week at the Big Purple house and wish we were still there! The place is beautiful and so well equipted. They've thought of everything. The beach is peaceful and the fishing was great - what a wonderful get away - nice and quiet yet only 15 minutes from the sites and sounds of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We highly recommend the house and beach - we'll be back!
