Fool's Gold (formerly known as Third Times the Charm) is a spacious 5 bedroom (including bunk bed room) and 5 bathroom 2800 square foot home located in a private 22 home gated community next to Rosemary Beach. Located on the south side of Route 30A, just a two minute stroll to the beach. The home is also equipped with WI-FI broadband service.
The 3 story house has 2 family living areas. The first level has the bunk room for 4 kids and an attached bath. Also, on this level is the entertainment area for the kids. This area has a large TV with surround sound and easy access for plugging in video games. It has a DVD player so the kids can watch whatever movies they want. Another bedroom with a king-size bed and private bath with enclosed shower is on this level.
The second level has a 19-foot cathedral ceiling with the kitchen, living area and dining area. The living room has surround sound and TV/ DVD player. It opens onto a wraparound balcony with an outdoor sound system and views of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances while the dining area has a built-in buffet serving area. Also on this level are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and private bath while the other bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a bath with the living area.
The third level has a balcony overlooking the second floor and coffee niche with its own microwave and refrigerator. It opens onto another wrap-around balcony with an outdoor sound system and views of the water. The master bedroom and bath are located on this level. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private balcony. The master bath has a jetted whirlpool tub and separate enclosed shower with two shower heads.
The outdoor living space has a private heated pool, outdoor shower and charcoal grill. The sound system is wired to provide music for your enjoyment around the pool. The pool is totally private and is not visible from neighboring homes. Also, for your convenience a garage for one car and two off street parking spaces are available.
Numerous shops and restaurants in Rosemary Beach and the Villages of South Walton are a 10 minute walk away. Grocery stores are accessed by a 5 minute car ride. Additional shopping, restaurants and a movie theater complex are located in the Pier Point Park complex which is a 15 minute car ride.

We vacation at Rosemary Beach each year. Though we have always had a great time, this year was extra special because of our stay at Fool's Gold. The house had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and both gathering areas were prefect for our large family. The walk to the beach was short and shady. The view was nice as well. The porches and the pool deck were other great gathering spots. We were able to walk to our favorite Rosemary Beach eateries and shops. Fool's Gold will be on the top of our "favorites" list.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
