Lovely Condo in Kihei!

What I loved most about this condo?........ Well even though I was in Hawaii, in perfect 75 degree weather, with beaches and pools and hot tubs right outside of my window, I chose to spend some of my days lounging inside the condo, listening to music on the excellent sound system, curled up reading a book on the cozy couch, or making beautiful meals with fresh Hawaiian produce in the fully equipped kitchen! This condo has all the luxuries of home and then some. It is elegantly decorated and has all the amenities you would hope for and even a few that you wouldn't think of (cooler for the beach, beach chairs, even snorkel gear!) And its extremely clean! I felt very at home and very happy while inside this condo. And outside isn't bad either. The pool and hot tub are lovely, the condo managers are very helpful, and the town of Kihei has a very sweet, local feel to it. Not too remote and not too touristy. This was a great property to stay at in Maui. It was centrally located and near all the beaches, restaurants, shops. Right by the ocean we could walk down whenever we wanted which was nice and there was nothing to impede the views. Children loved the pool and we spent some of everyday down there. Building was great! Clean and well maintained we had no problem with noise and everything was exactly as it was described in the advertisement. The owner was very helpful and responding quickly to all our inquiries. I would definitly recommend this property to all my friends. We had a great time and wish we were still there.

This is one of the best condos that we have rented in Maui. There were many extras that we did not expect. (coffee for the first morning was awesome) The condo was extremely clean when we arrived. The grounds as always are very well kept and the staff are extremely helpful. Just a note about the condo owner. We had decided on this trip at the very last minuet and Stephen did all he could to make sure we had a great vacation and everything went smoothly. I would return again and would refer this condo to all my friends.

Wonderful Condo

We spent 10 days on Maui and in this amazing condo overlooking the ocean. Right when you walk in, it just feels comfy, clean, spacious and inviting. My husband and I would highly recommend this condo, it has a wonderful lanai with tables and chairs. You are overlooking the pool and BBQ, which is really nice as well. It is decorated very nice and the elevator and washer and dryer are very close to you. That is nice when you have laundry to do. We will definitely will be coming back and staying at this condo. We have stayed at Kauhali Makai before and enjoyed those visits greatly. This was our first stay at Stephen's condo and we found it to be a pleasant, comfortable place with a fine view. The rooms are well laid out, use space efficiently, and are nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped, much better than most, and we even found a good supply of herbs and spices in the cupboard. The hallway closet contained snorkel gear, beach mats and chairs, coolers, and other items for outings, so we didn't have to purchase any of those things; a nice benefit. For those with disabilities, the shower is accessible and the condo is right near the elevators. This property worked great for us. We had everything we needed, and we love the location. Unless you are looking for a hotel instead of a condo, or prefer a different location, you really can't go wrong with this fine condo in north Kihei.

This condo is absolutely gorgeous & so comfortable. Well equiped & the decor so tasteful. We had a wonderful 12 nights there. The listing is accurate & it is nicer than the photos even. Very clean. The owner was so helpful & emailed us things to do & see when we arrived & even where Safeway was. I would very much reccommend this to others.

We stayed at Stephen's condo for 8 nights in March, and loved everything about his place and our time in Maui. The condo is very comfortable and everything as described. The lanai is spacious and we enjoyed spending time out there having our breakfast each morning, and relaxing at the end of the day watching the sunset, and the torch lights from the grounds of this complex. The view from this condo is magnificient, it was hard to leave at the end of our stay! The condo was equipped with everything we needed, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Made our stay very enjoyable and I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a lovely and comfortable place to stay when visiting Maui. We hope to be back again soon. Anita

A home away from home

Maui and Mr. Roberts condo is all you really need. The accomodations are excactly as described, comfortable, clean and accomodating all your needs. The kitchen is small, but has all the tools you need. The refrigirator is large and will hold a weeks worth of supply without a problem. The beds are comfortable, even the pull out couch, which turns into a comfy queen size bed. Towels are soft and generous in size. Mr. Roberts is a treat to deal with and as I said earlier, there is everything you need. I will be back, the fourth time, hopefully real soon.

We had an AMAZING time!!! The condo was perfect, it came equipped with everything we needed and MORE.... The cooler and chairs came in handy on our beach days! It was clean and cozy, we loved the colours and decorations which made it feel very homey, it was wonderful to wake up and enjoy breakfast on the lanai with a beautiful view (not looking onto a parking lot). It was also fabulous to come back after a long day of driving the island and relax in a cozy place... Stephen was very helpful in booking the condo as well as providing directions and things to do on the island, we look forward to staying there again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family...

My boyfriend and I have visited Maui five times in the past five years, and this way definitely the best trip so far. We have stayed at two different condo buildings in close proximity (Kauhale Makai and Maui Sunset). This unit offered exceptional views and all the basics to enable a great stay on Maui. The unobstructed oceanview from the lanai was wonderful, we could eat our dinner and have a Longboard as the sun set if we didn't want to walk down to the shore. From the four units that we have previously stayed in between the two condo buildings, this unit is now a 'keeper' and a unit that meets all of our needs. For those who are looking for sunset views on the 'right side' of the street at an affordable price, look no further! You can escape all the touristy hustle and bustle and have a place to call 'home' when you're on the island. Thank you Stephen!

We had a great week in this unit! The views are even better than they appear in the photos, the condo was very comfortable and tastefully furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some amazing meals. It was a very friendly, well-maintained building and we made frequent use of the grills near the pool and the table and chairs on our lanai. The only thing that was a bit surprising was the temperature of the pool water. (I know, life is rough on Maui, isn't it?!) During our visit it was a little too cold for swimming, but...we spent most of our time at the beach so it wasn't much of a problem for us. And Stephen, the owner, was very helpful and extremely responsive. I'd highly recommend this unit to anyone who's looking for a one-bedroom condo to rent in Kihei!

This 4th Floor apt. has a beautiful view, is conveniently located and the apartment is clean and attractive. Quiet building, with useful ammenities ( BBQ, pool and well functioning hot tub )all clean and inviting. The pictures do not lie, the apt is well laid out to maximize space and it has everything you need. Great bet for families!

Wow we had a fabulous time in Maui!! So glad that we chose Stephen's condo to rent, as there were so many to choose from. The condo was fully supplied! There was everything you could need in the kitchen, there was wireless internet, a great shower, comfortable bed and the cooler, beach mats and beach umbrella sure came in handy also. We loved the Lanai, and spent a great deal of time out there having breakfast, dinner or just enjoying the magnificent view. The condo was very comfortable, nicely decorated and conveniently located right next to the elevators and laundry room. The condo complex is a very short walk to the beach where we enjoyed watching many sunsets. In the complex there are barbeques where we cooked a lot of our dinners and enjoyed socializing with others also staying in the building. Stephen was great to rent from and we enjoyed staying in his condo. I would definetly stay there again when we return to Maui!!

This condo has magnificent views from both the living room and the bedroom. We watched the sunset on the lanai (balcony) and had dinner outside almost everynight and every morning. There is a beach right in front of the condo and 5 bbq grills with tiki torches. Beaches are everywhere, from walking distance to a 5 minute car ride to 30 minutes. The highway is 2 minutes away, but we always used the small road by the ocean. This condo is beach "equipped", beach chairs, beach parasols, coolers and ice pak. We loved Maui, we got up in the middle of the night to go to the crater, we went snorkling every day and saw turtles, eagle rays, and tons of fish. All the amenities are here, we loved it, couldn't ask for anything else.

Just got back and this condo was an excellent place to stay on Maui. I had never stayed in Kihei before and it turned out to be a perfect location...close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean, well decorated and having a fully stocked kitchen was a huge bonus. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it anyone traveling to Maui.

We stayed in this condo for the first 7 days of our honeymoon in July 2009, and loved every minute of it. We found the place to be very clean, overall. It provided us with clean sheets and enough towels to last us even longer than we stayed. It was very spacious, but the balcony was our number one hang-out spot! It is in a very convinient location, so that all the other neighbouring towns are very close by and easily accessible. We wish we can be back there again sometime real soon!

What a GREAT condo this unit is! We stayed 7 nights in April and loved our time there. I've stayed in other rental condos and was really impressed by how 'homey' this one felt. The kitchen is great, with plenty of utensils, bowls, pots, and pans - even tupperware! We immediately made use of the iPod dock nicely connected to the stereo, and were so pleased to find TWO coolers in the bedroom closet - ready for carrying down to the pool or beach. I'll even admit that we made use of the DVD player on one of our evenings in. The 'creature comforts' were rounded out by an abundance of BIG, soft towels and plenty of linens. Unlike many rental units, this one is painted in beautiful, warm tones and has sturdy, comfortable furniture - it really feels like being in someone's home rather than a place with the cheapest possible accoutrement! In particular, I love a nice hot shower, so I've got to give a call out to the abundance of hot water, flowing at high pressure from the HUGE showerhead. Better than my shower at home! Bigger picture-wise, it's close enough to the Maui central highway that it was easy for us to get out of the Kihei area without taking too long. At the same time, it's a 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk to the first commercial strips with drugstores, cafes, etc. From our view overlooking the putting green, pools, ocean and sunset (those photos don't lie!), we could see the frequent pool cleaning and groundskeeping; we also knew just when one of the four propane grills was free in the evening (those fancy gas tiki torches are a great touch), and whether there was room in the lovely hot tub jacuzzi. We could even see low tide on the ocean (a chance for a little snorkeling one morning). During our week, we saw lots of families with kids playing and cooking out in the evening. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. Nighttime was quiet, but for the sound of the surf!

Honeymooning on Maui

My name is Brandon and my wife and I just came back from our honeymoon in Maui. The condo helped make our trip a truly unforgettable experience. We were working on a budget so the fully-loaded kitchen and nice gas grills out by the pool helped us to save some money by cooking most of our meals at the condo. The view off the Lanai is perfect especially at sunset, so you can't get anymore romantic than eating dinner while watching another great west Maui sunset. The grills were cleaned everyday just as the pool and hot tub were. The condo was spotless when we arrived and has everything you need to feel like you are at home. Towels, cooler, map of the island, and beach chairs. The enitre condo has a great feel with lots of personality. There are some great beaches within 5 minutes driving and they are all public which is great. I would also recommend using the condo's sister hotel booking service which is called Hawaiian style activities. We booked our sunset cruise and helicopter flight through them and received huge discounts. Stephen was a great person to rent from because he always replied to my emails immediately and was extremely knowledgeable and considerate.

This is my second trip to Maui and I loved this condo! It was renovated and upto date. I had friends and relatives in 3 other condos in the building and those units were no where near as nice, my parents are actually thinking of renting this unit for next year. The only I would like even more would be closer to the West side of the building so that you can watch the sunset from the Lanai, but it gave us an excuse to go for a walk to the beach. It would have been great to have space to store some food but otherwise everything was great and the carpet was so soft, have to mention that! I will return to Maui for sure and probably to the same unit.

Great Pick

My 2 boys ages 3 and 6 and my self stayed in this unit for 5 nights. The room was beautiful nicer than my home. Being nice and close to the laundry facilities was a bonus as 2 boys can make a lot of laundry. The room was equipped with everything we needed from a blender to wireless internet. The big yard area was great for my boys to play in and the short walk to the beach was an added bounus. The owner of the unit was quick to respond when I first contacted him, he was very nice to deal with. I booked a horse back riding trip up country just for a day away and i would recommend it to anyone. The beauty of the country and silence from my boys was wonderful it was worth the 180 Dollars

A wonderful place to stay

This is a thoughtfully decorated and well-maintained condo located in an immaculate island garden. The furnishings are comfortable inside and outside on the lanai where there is a beautiful view of palm trees and the beach. This gentle beach is a 3-minute walk from the condo and great for strolling on the sand or taking that first swim of the morning. I saw the swimming pool cleaned daily and the spa was emptied and washed. Neither were over-chlorinated. Also, the grills were scoured clean daily and there were several of them available every evening. The condo is well-located, being near many great towns and beaches; my favorite was the coral reef at mile marker 14 on HI 30 South, the road to Lahaina. This is the best snorkeling I've found in Hawaii, with a variety of strikingly beautiful reef fish beyond imagination, and it is a great beginner's spot. Maui is a wonderful place for vacation and this is a great home away from home whether you are lounging around the condo or using it as a home base for all your excursions. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Right at home

This place was a perfect mix of cozy, comfortable, and practical. The perfect way to soak up Maui. My favorite place to sit is out on the lanai enjoying the lovely view of the sea and the palms as the clouds played over the sky. It truly felt like a home away from home. The gas grills are so fantastic we ate a lot of meat just because it was so easy. This was our base of operations to easily explore the entire island. Also having an amazing piece of Hawaiian history (the old sea wall) right on the back door was really cool. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Maui Getaway

I spent 15 great days in Maui in September and it was nice to come back to a comfortable, quiet home away from home. The condo was well furnished and stocked with all the necessary amenities that I have in my home. The Bar-b-Que area was a great place to meet people and discover new adventures. This was a beautifully furnished condo in a great central location. We were perfectly situated for a drive up to Lahaina, the north shore, or the Hana Highway, and were close to many nice beaches in the south western side of the island. It was nice having a cooler to take to the beach and beach towels to use, and the condo's kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and pans. This was a great bargain and we're happy to have found it. We had an amazing time on Maui!

The condo was everything and more that it was advertised to be! The pool, spa, communal gas grills and grounds were meticulously maintainted. We were particulary pleased to find the kitchen so well stocked with utensils/cookware - - we therefore ended up cooking/grilling more than we would have originally thought - - it was delightful to do so and be on our own schedule. Looking forward to returning to the condo and beautiful Maui!
