Nestled in a quiet 9 acres of solitude with access to beautiful Carters Lake near Ellijay in the North Georgia Mountains, this luxury lodge has over 3000 sq feet of comfort. This cabin was built for rental groups and sleeps up to 16 people. The cabin is also romantic and accommodates a small number of guests quite nicely as well. Bring your family reunion, church group retreat, Scrapbooking retreat or corporate outing here for one of the best views in North Georgia.
The lodge is fully furnished and the kitchen fully-equipped for settings of 16 people. There is also an outdoor grill, lots of rocking chairs on the deck, and a eight-person hot tub, foosball, air hockey, pool table, and 2 canoes for your enjoyment. A two car garage is attached to this secluded home in a private gated area called Lakeland Estates.
Bring your boat or personal water craft, rent a pontoon boat from the marina, or use our 2 canoes for the summer months. An October highlight is the Ellijay Apple Festival and of course the beautiful leaves!
Carter's Cove rental cabin is also close to hiking, the Ridgeway Mountain Bike Trails, rafting on the Ocoee River, and Amicalola Falls State Park.

Our family traveled from Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi for a weekend at Carter's Cove Cabin. It was absolutely wonderful and everyone had a great time. We played games, hung out by the fire, cooked great food, and took walks to the lake to skip rocks. We celebrated Christmas together and had the most relaxing time we've ever had at this time of the year. There was something for all the kids to do ranging in ages from 3-16 years old. We can't wait to meet at the cabin again soon!!

What an amazing weekend! Quaint, Cozy, and it felt like home away from home! The cabin was lovely, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed and then some! We really enjoyed the hot tub and looking at the stars at night and the lake was pristine and beautiful. I definitely was not ready to go back to Atlanta with all the smog and traffic, the peace and quiet here was a breath of fresh air. We will defiantly come back!

This was a great place for us to stay during our New Year's tradition... The cabin was fully equipt and it was missing nothing. I mean there was enough room for our guest and everything we needed was right there. You have a beautiful view when the sun rises and the fire pit was great for story telling.... My family and I would defenately be back again!!!
