Cedar Cove is a beautiful new home right on Norris Lake in a cove at the end of Cedar Creek beyond the 'jumping bridge' in the gated community of Lakeside Estates. The home is built on what is called the 1044, which means it is built as close to the lake as allowed. The Aspen floor plan, which sleeps 34, offers a wonderful home for stress-free vacations. It has vaulted ceilings on the upper level, 3 family rooms, 3 decks with amazing views of the lake, and lots of space for family and friends to gather and have fun.
The main floor has an extra large kitchen with double appliances including 2 Refrigerators. The dining room seats 28 and has a flat screen TV. Also, enjoy the vaulted ceiling in the main level with a family room with a 46” flat panel TV and DVD player, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms on the main level has a king bed, and the second has a king and a twin bunk bed. The second floor has a family room with a 46” flat panel TV and DVD player, and four more bedrooms. The second floor has two master bedrooms with king beds and a private baths. One of the other bedrooms has a king bed, and the other has a queen and a twin bunk bed. The lower level has a family room with two 32” TVs and DVD player, a game room with a pool table, indoor shuffleboard table, gamer chairs with TV gaming monitor, a full bathroom, 3 more bedrooms, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. Two of the bedrooms on the lower level have 2 full bunk beds (sleeps 8 each), and the remaining bedroom has a queen bed. The lower level has a walkout porch with the easiest walk to the lake that you are likely to find.
Enjoy your own private boat dock and hot tub. Lakeside Estates is a gated community with walking trails, boat ramp, and swimming pool.

Our extended family visited Cedar Cover over the New Year's holiday. We were looking for a large place that could accomodate around 30 people at a reasonable price. Cedar Cove delivered on that aspect. I'll list the positives first: 1) Clean 2) Rental was easy to deal with 3) Lots of bathrooms with plenty of hot water The Negatives: 1) Heat was out for two days. Poor communication from onsite manager about repair time. No concession made on rental. Temperature made basement space almost unusable. 2) Direct TV service did not work in basement - Was planning on using that for New Year's games. Again poor communication from management and no attemp to fix was made. 3) TV's listed as being in bedrooms were not there. 4) Couches on Main and upper floor were extremely delapidated and worn. You almost hit the floor when you sat in them. They were the most uncomfortable couches we've experienced. I hope the owners will visit and replace them. 5) The bunk beds in the lower area had full size mattresses on bottom bunk. This would have been wonderful, except each bedframe was broken so that the mattress sagged in the middle making it very uncomfortable. All in all, this could be a very nice place for large groups. The kitchen and eating areas are nice though definitely budget minded. The owners need to attend to some maintenance and details such as the couches and bunk beds.
