This is a unique beach house. For your convenience and comfort, this house has MARBLE tile throughout. You have 2 floors for your enjoyment, with cooking facilities on both floors; each floor has a separate entrance with a spacious lanai; each floor sleeps up to 4 guests. Reserve the whole beach house for large groups. When you retire in the evening, you have privacy. 115 strides to the oceanfront, you can enter the water right there for snorkeling. Most houses on the line have a cliff, not this one! This beach house is located 33 miles south from Kailua-Kona, and 63 miles from the VOLCANO.

IF YOU WANT TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL....THIS IS THE PLACE! You have 2 double kayaks for your enjoyment, plus snorkeling gear supplied. The snorkeling is excellent. The fishing here is some of the best in Hawaii. Humpback Whale season is Dec.-March. You WILL see the whales during the day. You WILL hear the whales during the night. Occasionally the Spinner Dolphins will say "hello" to you as they pass by. You have a spectacular view from every lanai; and a lovely breeze. Large expanses of glass and sliding doors allow you to view the ocean from nearly every room in the beach house.

My name is Elaine Jensen; my husband's name is Ole Jensen (from Denmark & Chicago). We will do our best for a successful trip. Again, if you want to get away from the 'rat race', this is the place for you! This is the perfect place to relax. Just peace and quiet, and the beautiful blue pacific awaits you. Milolii - "where the sun meets the sea".

  • Milolii is known throughtout the islands for its deep sea fishing, and clear waters. The 'last fishing village' in Hawaii is just a 10 minute drive within the Milolii Beach Lots subdivision, where a secret trail leading to a coconut beach (Honomalino) offers fantastic snorkeling. The village has a County boat ramp and camp grounds, and offers easy access for kayaking and deep sea fishing. Milolii offers some of the most undeveloped stretches of coastline on the Big Island, with secret beaches to explore. Seasonal whale watching and Spinner Dolphins. As many as 10,000 Humpback Whales visit the Hawaiian waters annually from November through May. These endangered mammals enjoy the state's warm waters in the winter to breed, give birth and nurse their young. Spectacular sunsets can be viewed directly from the beachhouse.   • We had a wonderful week long stay in the upper level unit! It was so peacful and relaxing. Very open and plenty of room for the two of us. We loved falling asleep with all the windows open and the ocean breeze blowing in! With the ocean so close, you can hear the waves hitting the shore! Elaine & Ole were wonderful & very easy to work with (they even were kind enough to answered all of our "tourist" related questions!) Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your house! We would love to stay again in the future!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this village and this property when our family spent 10 days on the Big Island. Visiting the island were my husband and I and our four kids ranging in age from 16 to 23. We rented the whole house. The accommodations were lovely and the Jensons were very delightful to work with. The house was very clean and came with every amenity needed. The village was quiet and the view from the upper level was remarkable. We would consider staying here again should we return to the island.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day stay here, last Dec., 2008. The upper unit was perfect for the 2 of us. The area is quiet and relaxing. Standing on the upper lanai, we had a perfect view of the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. We've stayed in Milolii before. But, we loved our stay at the "pink" beach house the best. And we hope to do so again. We were fortunate to meet Elaine and Ole Jensen. They are a very nice and helpful couple. You will love them. Shannon & Toni
