This is a wonderful condo that overlooks the beautiful white sands of the Emerald Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. It is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners were very accomodating. It is getting new Internet service that will be much better than what has been available in the past. The snowbirds in this complex are very friendly and have various social events during the Winter months. We highly recommend this unit.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We have stayed at this condo for a few years in a row and have never been disappointed. The owners have gone out of their way to keep this condo updated. Each year I'm amazed at all the little extras they provide. My favorite part is the cleanliness of the condo upon arrival. Each year we travel with 5 other families and their condos never match ours for cleanliness and amenities. It's a beautiful place to stay on your vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our week in this condo. It was lovely and in great shape. It feels very much like a home. The beach views are terrific. The owners have provided lots of extras to make the stay very comfortable.

My family stayed in this unit July 22 -29, 2006, and the pictures on the site do not do it justice! The condo is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The gated community was safe and secure; the security officers patrolled regularly. The new pool was fabulous! We will stay in this unit as long as it is available!

6/25/05 - We stayed the week at Popes Paradise our family had a wonderful time, we had perfect weather and surroundings. We loved staying in the first bldg, the view is wonderfull. Your condo is a home away from home, thank you for all your thoughtfullness it made our stay great. You thought of and provided most everything we needed. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Just returned from one of the best weeks in Destin we have ever had! The condo was the 2nd that we have rented in The Mainsail, but by far the most well supplied. There were games, movies,beach towels and so much more. We went the week after Hurricane Charley and the water was beautiful to go along with the weather. Our view from the balcony was great for watching the sunset and dolphins! Thanks for the use of the beach service, too. I can't think of anything we could have added. The 4 of us were very comfortable. All amenities were great including the High speed internet access at the Mainsail. We would highly reccomend Pope's Paradise to anyone wanting a carefree vacation spot!

Our family had a wonderful time at Pope's Paradise. The condo is well stocked with all of the necessities and then some! Great location and very close walk to the beach which is perfect if you have children. We loved sitting on the private balcony every morning and at sunset. Thanks for sharing your condo with us. Wonderful!!!!!!!!!! We could not have asked for a better place to stay at. I am very picky and have a hard time sleeping away from home. Well, you would have thought that I was at home because I slept so well and felt so comfortable during our stay. I can't thank you enough for providing such a pleasant, comfortable environment for your renters. This was our first visit to Destin. We have a place in Hilton Head and have been going there for about 16 years. We do love Hilton Head but as our children have gotten older we have found that they are getting a little bored with just going to the beach and riding bikes. We are so glad that we decided to go to Destin. Our children are still talking about their trip and how much fun they had. It was nice that there were places where they could go to dance and just have fun with their peers. One topic which truly amazed them was the sand! In Hilton Head it is brown and very hot to walk on. In Destin in was powder white and cool to warm, making walking in the sand without shoes so much fun! We definitely want to visit Destin again and would without question want to stay at Popes Paradise!

We stayed at Pope's Paradise for our honeymoon the first week in May, 2003. It was everything we could have hoped for in a relaxing vacation. The condo was decorated beautifully and had so many little thoughtful extras. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset. We are definitely planning to come back!

Our stay at Pope's Paradise was just wonderful. For us, it was more like visiting the beach home of a close friend due to all the amenities provided by the owner. The Pope's are easy to deal with and the unit itself is top notch. I highly recommend staying at Pope's Paradise.

We have stayed at Pope's Paradise for 2 years in a row after renting many different units in the area for a couple of years. We love the location - close to shopping, grocery stores, the beach - and the beautiful sunsets! It truly seems as if we are borrowing someone's house for the week since it's stocked with so many necessities. We hope to be back again.

Our 12th year at Mainsail - our 2nd year at Pope's Paradise. Definately our favorite condo - our kids were 6 & 9 and now one is graduating college and one is going to college...They say they want to come back until they get married and have kids. Maybe at that point it will be their turn to pay the rent ...I hope so...I'm old and poor. This is a wonderful vacation, and I hope we have many more. The weather and food are great - We have relatives & friends come in from Philly and Ft Worth - Both families staying at The Mainsail, 17 in all this year. What a day. Going to the beach now...

We had a wonderful vacation. The weather was beautiful. The water was clear. We saw dolphins almost every morning - the kids really enjoyed that. We felt right at home with all of the movies, condiments, and personal touches. Maybe we can return next year!

We really enjoyed your beautiful "Pope's Paradise", and our Destin vacation. We have stayed at several condos on the Carolina and Georgia beaches and yours is the nicest we have been to. The many amenities and homey touches, pictures, movies, etc. make it outstanding. We really appreciate it and are grateful we chose your condo. We hope to rent it again next year. As we return to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, we'll have a little white sand in our shoes and heart.
