This is a lovely Craftsman style home located on the Green River in the secluded private gated community of Summit Landing. The home has four bedrooms, a living room and a den as well as a fabulous sleeping porch, a porch off the living room and a stone terrace at the ground level. A short walk through the woods and you are at the gazebo right on the river with your own private dock.
Enjoy the view while sitting in rocking chairs on the stone terrace or relax in a comfy chair on the porch with a tree-house feel.
This home has a private dock on the Green River and it is perfect for swimming and fishing. Lake Summit is a short distance down the river.
There is plenty of shopping and sightseeing in nearby Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Saluda, and Asheville. There are public tennis courts and Golf Clubs nearby.
You can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, fishing, and kayaking.

We had a wonderful rental experience with this beautiful, spacious mountain home! The listing's description and pictures were accurate with regard to it's location and it's amenities. Our favorite room in the house was the porch with the fireplace. A pleasant surprise was how very accessible it is to US 25 and I-26. It is located very near the quaint towns of Saluda (recommend eating at The Purple Onion) and Flat Rock. Our favorite apple farm, Stepp's Farms, had lots of apples. If watching movies or sports on a large tv is part of your vacation plan, this is not the house for you. If you have small children who don't do stairs yet, bring baby gates. There are lots of stairways! The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher...something many other mountain homes we've rented either didn't have, or had a half size one. Another plus of this home is that there is garbage service... nice to not have to take our trash with us! Thank you very much to this family for making this wonderful home available to renters!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
