There are no additional fees to use the amenities. Walk a few steps to PUBLIC GOLF COURSE, and Harris Teeter grocery store. Relax on the wrap-around front porch or the screened porch on plush, cushioned wicker rockers.
Sleeping accomodations include a lakefront, FIRST FLOOR KING MASTER SUITE, tv/dvd and beautiful lighted fountain view. The Master tiled bath has a sunken tub and double shower with two massage shower heads. Two additional Queen Master suites with attached baths are on the upper level; one suite is furnished with a 54": TV. (KIDS LOVE THIS ROOM). Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from one master suite balcony. The 4th bedroom has two twin beds and a trundle; The 5th bedroom has one twin bed and bunk beds. There are 2 queen sleeper sofas on the first level. (1 KING, 2 QUEENS, 3 SINGLES, 1 trundle,1 BUNKBED, 2 QUEEN SOFABEDS.)
The TWO STORY SUNNY FAMILY ROOM is equipped with a 42" LCD TV, DVD with surround sound system, gas fireplace, loft overlook with CLAWFOOT OAK POOL TABLE, PALLADIUM WINDOWS IN LOFT overlooking the lake and fountains. Stereo speakers are placed in the family room, living room, and master bedroom. Take a nap on the CUSHIONED WICKER SCREENED PORCH, which sides to crape myrtle trees, gardens, and views of two lake fountains; perfect for relaxing on a rainy day! The 1st floor sunroom contains a desk with WI-FI internet connection and bar. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and has a center island.
Additional amenities include books, board games, and puzzles, 6 BEACH CHAIRS, 2 umbrellas, BOOGIE BOARDS, and beach bag WITH 7 BEACH TOWELS, FISHING RODS. The gated community is 5 minutes from Bethany Beach boardwalk by car or bike.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Bethany Lakes
We have always loved the ocean and the quiet resort of Bethany Beach. We chose this location because of easy access to Route 1 (Coastal Highway) without having to travel congested roads to get to the beach. The tranquility of our screened porch on the lake is our most popular feature. There is a grocery store within walking distance; seafood carryout and restaurants adjacent to our gated community. Bethany Lakes is 15 minutes to Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The benefits of our location include non-congested drives to Fenwick, Ocean City, and Rehoboth Beach. The designer outlet stores are a 15 minute drive from Bethany. Our guests LOVE our screened porch with plush cushioned wicker rockers and sofa for an afternoon nap. There is a view of the lake and fountains from every window in the back of the house, including the loft with pool table. Our community is gated, providing safety for guests and their families. There are double master suites in our home.

Hello! We are Ted and Debbie from Ellicott City, Maryland. We LOVE the beach and we also are classic car owners. We have three college-age children who also live in Maryland and visit us at the beach as much as possible. We are retired Realtors and builders and currently own an insurance brokerage. We hope to retire to our home in Bethany Beach. Until then, we hope you enjoy are home as much as we do.

This home is exquisite. The house was incredibly clean and open! the numerous sections to the home were great for games, puzzles, and working on our laptop. The master bedroom's dual shower room was very nice and the soaking tub was amazing! There are a number of bedrooms upstairs and the pool room overlooks the family room- this home has such an open and inviting feel to it, I highly recommend staying here!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully decorated, spotless, luxurious, and they thought of every amenity. It was the perfect spot for our reunion with our friends from DE, PA & CA. The kids loved the lake out back and the boardwalk that goes to the playground and the pool. I can't say enough nice things about this home and the owners. We would definitely rent from them again!
