I can't say enough about this condo and its owner. Both are EXCEPTIONAL! For you folks that this is your first visit to Maui you have to stay here...the best location all around for the amenities in condo and around the location. You will always find a place on the beach just steps away. You don't need anything!!!!! If you need something or have a special request the owner and his staff will try their best to make your stay 5star. We have never met this owner, we have never spoke to this owner, however every transaction is flawless via email and text :o) Thank you for a stress free holiday our family will remember forever! We will be back....again!

Our Home in Paradise!

This condo was all we expected and more. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We LOVED the extremely comfortable king-size beds. Tile floors were cool and easy to keep clean. The beach chairs, boogie boards and cooler provided in the condo were put to good use. We also enjoyed the private little courtyard BBQ/picnic area right outside the door -- very clean and well maintained. This condo was a fantastic venue for our stay on Maui. Mahalo!

First Stay Was Exceptional - Staying again for Christmas 2011

The owner, Adam, was very pleasant to deal with. Always available when we had a question prior to staying the first time. When we arrived we entered the unit without any problems and everything was exactly as specified. The most amazing part of this unit is the breezes, the sounds and the smell of the ocean right out the balconies, ecpecially in the evenings. Shops, food and of course the beach (right across the street) within walking distance. We loved this unit so much that we are returning for Christmas with our children. Can't wait!!!! I will check back :o)

Disappointed

I'm sorry to say that this condo in Maui was the only disappointment in an otherwise wonderful trip to Hawaii. We spent the first 5 days of our trip in a lovely condo on the Big Island and we were very excited to move on to Maui and were looking forward to our stay in Kihei. When I signed the contract for the Kihei condo I received instructions from the owner. These instructions included the lockbox code and phone numbers to call if we had any problems. Upon arrival we found that the code we were given didn't work and we were unable to get into the condo. I called the property manager's number that I had been given and got a recording. I called the after hours emergency number and also got a recording. I left messages at both numbers explaining that we were unable to get in. I then called the number for the owner that was on the instruction sheet and got a recording saying that number wasn't in service. I called 411 and got another number for the owner and called and left a message on his phone also. It was nearly an hour before we got a call back from the property manager (I had started calling around to find another place to stay) and she said, "Oh the owner changed the code. I guess he didn't let you know." Kind of like, haha, isn't that funny. The thing that was funny to me was that on our instructions sheet, in capital, bold and underlined letters it said that if we locked ourselves out and they had to come let us in, they would charge us. Too bad I couldn't charge them for locking us out in the first place. To this day there has been no apology from either the property manager or the owner. Upon entering the condo we noticed that, though it looked exactly as pictured, the floors, walls, baseboards and especially the ceiling fans were very dirty. First thing we did was sweep the sand from the floors. The individual air conditioning units were very noisy. Though our instructions said there would be supplies such as detergent, bath soap, etc. in the condo, there was none. On the plus side, the location was excellent , within walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. There were beach towels, chairs, bogie boards and an umbrella available. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utinsils, etc. My feeling is that the owner, who lives on the East Coast, I believe, has not visited this unit for a while and doesn't know that it is not being kept up. It definitely needs a good cleaning.

Owner response:We are making every effort to address the issues raised in this complaint including compensating the guests for their inconvenience. Unfortunately we were not given a chance to respond to the complaints until after the guests completed their stay but we wholeheartedly appreciate the feedback and will make sure that the specific issues are resolved and compensation is offered to the guests in order to ensure that they are treated fairly.

Home away from home. Exactly as in the pics, and description. In fact much nicer. Very nicely furnished and supplied with everything we needed - except for food and drink :-) Best unit in the complex - from our point of view. Steps away from the beaches, minutes from Wailea, short walk/drive to anything we needed. The beaches are great in the area. Very highly recommend the place to anyone, and will definitely stay there when we return to Maui.

the condo was very nice, the bedrooms were comfortable , appliances were first rate. When we had something that needed to be fixed, it was taken care of in a timely manner. The extra's i.e. beach chairs were much appreciated., with a short walk to a fantastic beach. Loved the tile floors, much easier to keep the sand under control than carpet. The only issues we had were with the card keys, they became demagnetised very quickly, however we were informed that method of entry was going to be changed. We would very definately stay there again
