"Where the Mountains Meet the Desert" describes our Stucco Ranchero Style Casa! It is surrounded by our beautiful Xeric Garden. (Low water desert plants) Our house is extremely clean and ready for guests to come and unload all the mountain gear you need to enjoy what the area has to offer. The oversized 4 car garage has plenty of room for your: Jeep, 4 wheel drive pickup, skis, 4 wheelers, climbing gear or whatever you need to keep safe indoors! RV parking next to the garage on our private 1/2 acre lot.
The main living area has a full Audio/Video Home Theater surround system, Large dining area and comfortable living room area, for a relaxing evening at home! The large semi circular couch also makes into a hide a bed. Our kitchen has granite countertops, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and is fully stocked for in home cooking.
The upstairs level has 1 bedroom with a very comfortable King size bed, large closet, dresser and TV. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed & large closet area. They both share a full size bathroom.
The lower level has a large bedroom with a Queen size bed, dresser and large closet with a full size bathroom. It also has a family room with a TV Entertainment center and a hide a bed couch. The garage has direct access to the Family room.
The Huge covered deck is to die for! Outdoor seating, Barbeque, Hot tub, hammock and Million Dollar Views! You just might see deer, elk, bear, hummingbirds, bluejays, eagles or our neighbors taking their morning or evening walks. The Glenwood Fish Hatchery is just a 1 mile walk but it is a bit steep! You can bike to Glenwood Canyon from our house or walk to the Glenwood Springs Mall.
The fishing and rafting in the summer are some of the best in Colorado! We have the Colorado River and Roaring Fork River at your fingertips! You can visit Glenwood Caverns year round to explore the caves. They also offer mountain top dining, a zip line and more fun mountain rides! Of course the World Famous Hot Springs Pool attracts visitors from all over the world & It is open year round! The Yampah Spa is THE PLACE to have a wonderful luxurious massage, facial or just sweat it out, in the famous caves where the Ute Indians still visit! You can Hike Hanging Lake, or Red Mountain, or any of the many other mountain trails. Or mountain bike the back country!
Winter is all about the snow! Skiing in Aspen, Vail, Ski Sunlight! Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, and so much more!Go for It in Colorado! |
