Our unit is located in the new luxury base village resort complex, The Lodge at Mountaineer Square. With 2 full baths and 911 square feet of space, 4 people can comfortably relax in our 4 star condominium. We are near the top of the complex with a 5th floor unit providing stunning, unobstructed, south facing views of Mount Crested Butte, Mount Whetstone, Mount Axtel, and the historic town of Crested Butte. Our kitchen is fully stocked for at home living and a personal washer and dryer is at your service. Property amenities include full daily maid service, ski valet service, swimming pool, spa, sauna, heated garage parking, and an Adventure Center to arrange any activity of your desire.
Mountaineer Square is the high end jewel of Mt. Crested Butte and the center of all base village activity. At your doorstep is the free shuttle service every 15 minutes to the historic town of Crested Butte. Once you're at the complex, cars are an inconvenience. Our boys take the shuttle to go ice skating, sledding, play tennis, or skateboarding at the skateboard park in town. Full spa service, a wine bar, après ski facilities, restaurants, retail shops, ski and bike rentals, and lift ticket headquarters are also at your disposal.
Crested Butte is a charming resort town three miles from Mt. Crested Butte. Many of its buildings hail from its early mining days starting in the 1860s. It is known as the wildflower capital of Colorado and said to be the birthplace of mountain biking. With the start of the ski resort in the 1960s, its primary industry is tourism. It now hosts the US Extreme Freeskiing Championship, the US Telemark Ski Championship, Wildflower Festival, Mountain Bike Festival, and various music and art festivals. There is truly something for everyone year round in this undiscovered mountain paradise.
