Location: New Buffalo, Southwest, Michigan, USA (Just 70 miles from Chicago, 10 miles from Michigan City)

Accommodations:  House, 6 Bedrooms + Sunroom, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 16-18)

Walk down the street approximately four to five houses away and down the stairs to a private sandy beach. Walk along the sandy shores. Listen to the waves splash into shore. Watch the kids play on the beach. On a clear day you can see forty miles across the lake and see Sears Tower and the Hancock building. Watch the stunning sunset as the sun slowly sinks into Lake Michigan.

Ride bikes or take a leisurely stroll 3 blocks to Oselka’s Snug Harbor and the Marina Grand resort. Sit out on the patio at the Marina Grand enjoy your favorite beverage while watching the boats come in and go out. Over night and weekly slip rentals are available. There are at least 4 different associations that lease out slips. Another 3 blocks and you are in "Downtown" New Buffalo. The quaint downtown area offers an array of dining, specialty shops and spas.

Whitaker Woods golf course is only quick 4.1-mile drive. Briar Leaf Golf course is less than 20 minutes away. There are many other golf courses in the area.

Night Life. Restaurants & Bars are plentiful in the New Buffalo area. Gamblers paradise. The Four Winds Casino & Resort is just minutes away. The Four Winds offers the look and feel of a Vegas Casino. The Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City is less than 10 miles away.

The ranch home features an open floor plan. The full kitchen has a counter that can seat 6 for meals or just hanging out and looking out at the lake. The dining area seats another six and has a stone fireplace. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area giving a great place for a group to gather. The deck and gas BBQ are located just off the kitchen, making entertaining a breeze. The deck has a dining table that seats six. There are benches and tables built along the side of the deck for plentiful seating. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 ½ baths on the main floor. The virtually sound proof sunroom is a great spot to read a book, surf the net or watch TV in the quiet. The finished basement offers 3 more bedrooms, a full bath, 2 washers, 2 dryers and a family room area with a 42 inch Plasma with VCR/DVD player. The back yard is fenced in.

The layout of this house allows multiple areas for different groups to hang out. At night the kids can be watching a movie on the plasma, adults can be playing cards in the dining area, another group can be enjoying cocktails on the deck, and yet another group can be reading books or watching TV in the sunroom. If everyone wants to be together the open kitchen-living room and dining are or the large deck allow for that too!
