This dutch colonial two story home sits two houses from the pristine Chesapeake Bay public beach. The home has been updated with modern amenities,including central air conditioning, yet keeping the cozy charm of the 1940's with original hardwood floors and cabinetry throughout. Enjoy views of the Chesapeake Bay from the second floor bedrooms,living room, and the front porch.
There are three spacious bedrooms with ceiling fans, and a full bath on the second floor. Queen-size pillow top beds in two bedrooms, and two twin beds in one bedroom. A large entry hall, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and living room with wood burning fireplace are located on the first floor. French doors provide privacy to the dining room and living room areas. A queen sleeper sofa is in the living room. Half bath is located off the living room, adjacent to the laundry room . When returning from the beach, and entering from the back of the house, a large tiled showering area awaits you. House is cleaned weekly between rentals by professional housekeeping service.
Within walking distance are quaint shops, restaurants, library and places of worship. Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus Championship golf courses, marina, and Kiptopeke State Park are nearby. Virginia Beach, Norfolk/International Airport, Historic Williamsburg, Busch Gardens are a short drive from Cape Charles.
