Come stay in this Alpine Wilderness area and enjoy our unique cabin in a private, wooded development. This cabin is newly remodeled from top to bottom. Pine ceilings, rustic kitchen with breakfast bar, pellet stove, new 32 inch HDTV and more. Very clean and comfortable.
Just 90 minutes east of Seattle
There are many activities close by or if you would rather just relax, then you found the right cabin. You can sit out on the large, partially covered deck and enjoy a morning cup of coffee and then walk down and watch the goldfish in the springfed pond.
There is a nice view of the snow covered mountains across the lake. We are a short distance from Lake Cle Elum and the river.
There are numerous activities in the surrounding area. You can rent snowmobiles 2 miles down the road. Visit the historic town of Roslyn and do some shopping, grab a bite to eat and then go enjoy a movie at the Roslyn theatre. Don't forget to take some time to explore the Roslyn Museum and the historic, ethnic cemetary. .
Snowmobile right from the cabin,our numerous roads are groomed in the winter months, not plowed to the pavement like most communities in the area. In the winter, usually Dec/Feb our roads are closed to cars so you have to walk,snowmobile or use our shuttle service to the cabin. We are very close to the parking area , maybe a 5 minute walk and about 100 yards from the gate where you unload. The road closure makes it nice because without cars it is safe for kids to sled and leaves the roads nice and smooth for cross-country skiing,sledding or snowshoeing. WE OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE WHERE WE WILL PICK YOU UP AT YOUR CAR WITH OUR 2 SEAT SNOWMOBILE AND CARGO SLED AND TRANSPORT YOU AND YOUR BELONGINGS TO THE CABIN IN A JIFFY. MOST PEOPLE FIND THIS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRIP.
Leavenworth is one hour away. Numerous festivals during the year, german food and unique shops. The drive itself is beautiful during any season.
This is the perfect place to de-stress from everyday life and breathe some fresh mountain air. There are numerous hiking trails up to several of the area Alpine lakes or you can just take off from the cabin and hike to the lake or river or up to the Cle Elum ridge where there are many trails. It is the same with snowmowbiling. We back up to the Cle Elum ridge which offers unlimited riding without ever having to trailer anywhere. Build snowmen, hike, have a snowball fight, build a snow igloo, rent some snowshoes or cross country skis and have some fun on the hills. Or maybe the best is to make a cup of cocoa and sit inside or outside under the covered portion of the deck and watch the snowfall.
SINCE WE ARE NOT CONDOS, YOU HAVE NOBODY RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO YOU AND IT MUCH MORE QUIET AND PRIVATE.
We manage the cabin ourselves and do not use a management company that must increase the price so they can get paid. A vacation doesn't need to empty your wallet. We have one of the most reasonably priced cabins in the area. We hope to see you at the Barton Cabin.

Why the Owner Chose Roslyn
We fell in love with the area because there is so much to do in every season. Also there is very little traffic or noise and it is a great escape from city life. You are only an hour away from the big cities but when you get here you just feel relaxed as if you are in another state.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Cozy, quiet,view of mountains with snow, big deck to sit out on even in the snow, natural spring fed pond that was actually an old coal mine, very clean, lots of movies, close to Roslyn. During winter you have nice, smooth roads to enjoy all snow activites, snowmobile from the cabin without the need to load up on a trailer.
