We visited NYC with 6 grown up children (3 kids and 3 teenagers) during one week. The house is located in a save neighbourhood and has all the facilities. Bakery, Deli , some restaurants 10 mn by feet and a mall at the metro station. Good beds and all accomodations in the house : 2 bathrooms, cable TV, owen, microvawe, etc... Relative good connection to Manhattan with bus and metro : 10mn to the metro and than 30/40mn to downtown manhattan ligne M direct. Close to LA Guardia airport (about 15/20mn by taxi) The owner Mark was very friendly and helpfull. We had a great vacation

I have recently stayed at this property and I found it to be clean and gives a home feeling. Very nice for people looking for a good quiet visit to the big city. The property owner Mark was very friendly and hospitable. The neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful. I recommend this property to any family looking to have a good New York experience without all the noise and disturbance of the city. Mark gets two thumbs up in my book.

I recently stayed here with my extended family (5 adults, 3 kids) and found the house to be clean, in good order, spacious and in a good neighbourhood. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was both professional and accommodating. The subway ride into the city was easy and there were lots of stores/restaurants/malls close by to get the things you need for your stay. Staying in Queens was a great experience - a nice change from staying in Manhattan, without being too far away.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Good beds, shops in 5 minutes walk to buy your breakfast. Good connection to Manhattan with bus and metro of train. The owner: Mark and his wife were very friendly and helpfull. We had a great vacation.

Great Queens Home in Quite Neighborhood!

I was late getting in on Friday and Mark made sure that arrangements were made to get into the house. The neighborhood is great and you can walk to many stores and restaurants. The house was clean, well-kept, and spacious. Value for the money was great and would definitely rent from him again. Thanks Mark!

Had a week at the house from Christmas Day to New Years Day. Location was good for public transport and the local area felt very safe. The house was basic but functional, Mark (the owner) was very helpful.

We stayed in this townhouse in Queens in Dec. 2009. The accomodations were spacious for the four of us. A well equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, three bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom with a nice hot shower. This place offers far more room than two expensive hotel rooms in the city. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. Shops are just a few blocks away. A busstop (Q38) is just at the corner of the street to take you in a few minutes to either the subway station at Metropolitan Av (only a nice ten minute walk too) with easy access to Lower Manhattan or to the subway station Rego Park from where you go straight to Central Park. The owners, Mark and Elizabeth, were reliable,friendly and helpful.

My father, sister and I spent 4 nights at the townhouse while attending my Dad's Kings Point reunion in October, 2009. Parking was easy, the property was clean and had everything we needed. Mark was very helpful, suggesting several great local restaurants. It was a good central location, allowing us to go both into NYC and further out on Long Island. Plenty of room for the three of us in a very safe neighborhood. Thank you!

We had a party of six ladies staying at Mark's place, and we had a fabulous time. The house was spacious and comfortable, and our host Mark was very helpful and kind. Thank you Mark for all that you did for us. We are planning a yearly trip and we will stay here again!

We stayed at the townhouse for 5 days during the first week of September. The house was clean and we could tell the owner took pride in caring for the home. It is in a great quiet and very safe neighborhood. We did not have a car and used the subway or taxi for travel to our various destinations. We used Lindy's Taxi service several times during our stay (one of their business cards was in Mark's guestbook) and they were always on time and courteous. Carlo's Pizzeria on Metropolitan Ave. is the BEST and is only a few minutes walk from the townhouse. We actually ate dinner there 3 nights! Groceries, bakeries and drugstores are just a few minutes walk away also. The townhouse is fantastic and the three of us had a wonderful time that will last in our memories forever. Staying at this lovely townhouse is highly recommended.

House is lovely! Pictures don't do it justice. Lots of space! Very clean! Area is one of the nicest places to stay in Queens. Mark was helpful with bus routes and places to go. Had a great time and we would definiately stay there again! Thanks Mark!

We drove from Boston to stay at this spacious townhouse in April '09. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of street parking. Our two teenagers were very pleased that they had their own space. We enjoyed the local shops and the quick 10 minute walk to the metro. There were a couple nights we arrived by metro after midnight and felt very safe walking back to the townhouse. The neighborhood was lovely and Mark was very helpful. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends.

We are eight people who were of 28.04.2009 until 03.05.2009 at Mark in Queens. We were warmly welcomed by Mark, he has always stood by us with advice and practical help. The house was equipped with everything you could sit down together, or even retire at times to be alone. The quiet location was also very relaxing. The approximately 40min ride with the taxi to Manhattan, we have gladly accepted, it could live very well. The house of Mark can recommend with a clear conscience.

We stayed in this Townhome in April 09 with one other family.(9 of us total) It was in a nice, safe neighborhood and was conveniently located by the Metro station. We were able to get around everywhere without a car. Mark was helpful with getting around and gave us suggestions on places to go that were close.We had a great time for our first time in New York.

We spent the last week in March 2009 in this delightful townhouse (along with another couple from Lakeland). The townhouse was comfortable and equipped with all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen was adequately outfitted with cookware and dishes. We all found it to be an ideal location, granting convenient access to both the City and Long Island. We bought a weekly Metro pass and used it for both the Q38 bus and the M & V/R trains to the City. We also rented a car and found on-street parking on 77th Street to be basically available. It was an easy drive to major parkways leading to Long Island. Metropolitan Avenue (just a few blocks away) provided ample shopping opportunities and we enjoyed the ability to eat most dinners at home - either cooking or ordering take-out from one of the local Chinese restaurants. Middle Village is a very quiet, well-kept neighborhood and the four of us really enjoyed being a part of the community.

Hola! 6 amigos y yo viajamos del 8 al 15 de marzo a NY, buscamos y buscamos y al final decidimos alquilar esta casa y la verdad ke no nos arrepentimos, la casa es muy bonita y acogedora, muy equipada y limpia. Ademas el dueño fue muy agradable con nosotros y nos ayudo bastante.Nos preocupaba un poco la comunicacion de la casa con el centro pero la verdad es que tambien esta muy bien comunicada, el bus ke nos dejaba en el metro estaba solo a unos pasos de la casa y no tardaba ni 5 minutos en llegar asi que en unos 20 minutos en metro ya estabamos en el centro.Este año pensamos volver a NY y tenemos claro ke regresaremos a esta casa. un saludo!

We stayed at this beautiful Townhouse for one week in October 08 and really enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and ideal for our family of 4. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The area is also very idyllic,quiet,safe with easy access to Manhattan. Definitely the best place we've ever stayed in and we will most certainly be returning there on our next trip to NYC.

We stayed in this Townhouse in Queens in Sept. 2008. The accomodations were more than enough for our family of five. It was clean and very roomy with a good size kitchen, dining area and living room. The kids loved the fact that they had their own space and weren't constantly running in to each other. The neighborhood is VERY safe and quiet. There are plenty of places to eat and shop (you have to try Rosa's) just two blocks away. The Subway stop is only a ten minute walk with easy access to Manhattan. We just left the the car and took the Subway everywhere except to Coney Island which is only a 25 minutes drive on surface streets. The owner was also very helpful and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed at this wonderful townhouse for 43 days for our 2008 summer vacation in NYC. We loved the house and its beautiful/friendly neighborhood. Juniper park is alomost next to the house. Our kids had so much fun there. All kinds of shopping markets are also near by the house, very convenient for all our vacation shopping needs, too. We also enjoyed Mahattan so much without needing to pay for the high hotel fees there. We will definitely want to go back to stay at this house next time we want to go to NYC again!!
