Ours is a two-story end unit with lots of light and privacy! The master suite has its own bathroom, walk-in closet and overlooks the meadow. Our furnishings are incredible and represent the true mountain ambiance you desire for your home away from home! There are knotty pine floors and trim, a stone fireplace, a recently redone kitchen with granite counters, hickory cabinets and all new appliances (gas stove, stainless side by side fridge with icemaker and water in door, dishwasher, disposal, etc) full separate laundry room...all overlooking the fabulous view!
We have a brand new flat screen HD TV with IPod dock, DVD player, high speed wireless internet, and a great stereo. Our deck overlooks the meadow and has an all-weather wicker table and chairs as well as a propane BBQ. The deck is south and west facing, so it is great for sunning, entertaining and watching great sunsets. We have a lockable ski locker for all your gear just outside the front entrance to make getting to and from the slopes easier!

Map & Owner's Profile
Tahoe City Meadowfront Townhouse
Year Purchased: 2007
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe City
We've always loved Tahoe City because it's so charming and there's so much to do there - movies, restaurants, shopping, beaches, river rafting on the Truckee River, bike rides, skiing/snowboarding, riding the tram to Squaw Valley, hiking, etc. We fell in love with Lake Forest Glen when we stayed at a friend's place there, because it was so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We love the fact that our townhouse sits right on the meadow. We take lots of walks down to the lake or Skylandia Park to watch the sunset or have a picnic. The kids love the pool, sauna and hot tub. Just sitting on the back deck looking at the meadow and smelling the pine trees feels like a fabulous vacation.
Owner's Map of Tahoe City
Our family lives in Santa Barbara, CA, but we've spent time in Tahoe every summer for the past 20 years. After so many years of renting vacation cabins, it's always been our dream to have our own place at Tahoe, and now that dream has finally become a reality! Now we can spend so much more time at the lake, and we love to have other people enjoy our place when we can't be there!

We have rented many places both in Tahoe and across the US. This place is by far the best place we have every stayed. The house was immaculate, 2 block walk to the lake's edge, and just doen the road to Tahoe city and Squaw valley. The fireplace was perfect, the master bed room was large, comfy, and has a view of a wide meadow. Two beautiful full bathrooms on the second floor and a small one on the first. Views from every window. The unit is part of a complex, but it is located on the outer ring so we could sit on the back porch and view or hike into the meadow. The kitchen was great easy to navigate and we ate in more the out. There is a new bakery just 3 blocks walking away. I had to fight my inclination to not review the place because it will be harder for us to get dates but Patricia is a wonderful owner and the place should be used even if it is not by us. Hands down, this is the place to be.

We stayed in the townhouse from Dec 23 to Dec 26. The place is great and has everything one would need for a good vacation. From pots and pans in the kitchen to soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. House is very nicely decorated and very clean. Everything you see on the pictures is exactly how it looks in real life. The location is wonderful. The place is close to ski resorts and is in the walking distance to the lake. Patty was very helpful and answered all my questions over the phone and using the e-mail. We had a wonderful time.

My husband and two of my daughters aged 12 and 16 spent a relaxing and comfortable week at this condo - we were very pleased with the comfort of the home - the kitchen was fully equipped, a ton of movies to choose from, great hot tub and pool(s), wonderful meadow view, privacy as it is an end unit. The owners have taken great care to make the home welcoming and comfortable and we would definitely return for a visit, any season! Location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and the lake - access to the lake itself is available a short walk from the condo at two locations: Sklyandia Beach or Bristlecone. We enjoyed golf, Sand Harbor Beach, river rafting, horseback riding, jet skiing and just generally relaxing. Don't forget the Thursday a.m. Farmers Market at Tahoe City Commons in the mornings! Thank you to the owners for making us so confortable and for being so easy to communicate with - defintely a great find, we'd recommend to family & friends - my only complaint might have been the BlueJay who chewed me out as I tried to read on the deck when his bird feeder ran out of food :)

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. The townhouse is nicely equipped with everything you would need including all of the kitchen basics, games and books, even a great hiking guide. It was very clean and the location was great - a nice walk to the beach and easy access to Tahoe City and also quiet hiks. Owners were very responsive and professional.

We just returned from a fabulous week in Lake Tahoe, returning on July 4. We are a family of 5 with 3 sons in their late teens and early 20's. Being avid tennis players, we were quite pleased with the accessibility of the tennis courts at the complex. They were well maintained and we had no trouble ever getting a court to play. We also enjoyed the beautiful swimming pools and hot tub after playing. We found the accommodations to be quite comfortable and more than adequate for our family. The location could not be beat. Very accessible to area attractions, to the lake and to Squaw...we actually skies Squaw Valley on July 3. All in all this was a great vacation. Only criticism is that the gas grill needs servicing. Finally, I would just add that the transaction with Patty (owner) was seamless. Received the key a week in advance, and there were no surprises.

I had a wonderful time with my wife staying at the townhouse. What can I say that I did not capture in the title? This place has everything that you could want as a home away from home. The list of amenities is endless and the place truly feels like you are at home. The location is great as far as the complex goes and is private and very tranquil. It's proximity to Tahoe City and King's Beach are also huge perks. We boarded at Squaw and Northstar and both resorts were close enough to not feel like too much of a hassle. The casinos at Stateline are also just a short drive away. I can not say enough about the property and the convenience of the washer and dryer, downstairs half bathroom and the overall layout. It is perfect for a family of 5 or 6 and is well laid out with all the bedrooms upstairs to keep your young ones closeby. I will close by saying that the property was even so considerate as to have items like teabags and microwave popcorn as well as dish soap and laundry detergent to make you not have to run to the nearby CVS or Safeway if you forgot some things. There was even bodywash in the Master bathroom!! Do yourself a favor and stay here everytime you go to North Lake. It's beyond worth it!!!

Great place! Close to shops and lake. Pretty meadow right behind to explore, especially fun with snow! Townhouse was nicely furnished, bathrooms and bedrooms very comfortable! So nice to have a washer, dryer and a dishwasher, like a home away from home.

I've stayed here three times and it is beautiful, clean and quiet. It's an end unit on the meadow and we took nice bear photos from the deck. There's a full kitchen with everything needed to cook for our group, including grilling one evening outside. The full laundry room off the kitchen was a bonus. The master suite is lovely with a big window looking out on the meadow. Grocery store, etc. are close. We've been back so often because we love North Shore! M
