Diana, Everything about our family trip to Islamorada was perfect! The house was exactly what we had hoped it would be and it was immaculate on arrival. The location was perfect for the beach, running, cycling, fishing off of the dock, and being together. We had manatees at the dock every morning. Having a private beach on the Gulf was perfect for our two year old granddaughter. Matt dropped by to take us for a boat ride around the island and that was fun to see everything from the water. No worries about the sink. These things happen and you were so helpful in getting it repaired. There is nothing we would change about our vacation except to have made it longer!!! I will be in touch for next year!!!Owner response: Thank and so glad you enjoyed your stay. Diana

We are 4 guys from Scotland who have been fishing in the Keys regularly since 1997 and this is the best home that we have stayed in. We stayed for 2 weeks in May 2011. The house facilities were excellent and ideally placed for fishing and leisure activities. The owners, who live locally, were really nice and the booking with credit card was pain free. The house is in an excellent location at the head of the canal and it was nice to sit of an evening watching the boating traffic passing by our balcony. The neighbours were friendly and easy going. The house was very clean, comfortable and well provided and the addition of Wi-Fi was a real bonus. There is a private beach on the bayside a short walk away. The house is close to Islamorada and if fishing or diving is your thing then get in quick for your next vacation. We will be coming back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We were 5 fisherman so the 4 bedrooms and great AC made it real comfortable for sleeping after a long day out on the ocean (7 days in a row). The boat slip 30 feet from the house is where we kept our 27 foot fishing boat, really nice in the morning just step on the boat & go. The house is very clean & beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our fresh catch of the day. The view of the canal was exceptional as well as peaceful. We loved it so much, we hope to be back next yearRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
