Our family plus a few friends had a great stay at this spacious condo. The bedrooms and living area were very roomy, with large bathrooms, plenty of closet space, and privacy if you wanted it. The floor plan is split, with the master and one bedroom on one side of the living area, and another large bedroom with large master bath on the other side, which was great for us and our teenage boys. The screened porch provided even more room and would be very pleasant for cooler temperatures. Our dog also travelled with us, and he enjoyed laying on the cool tile floors! The Wendover Dunes complex and pool is very nicely landscaped and well-maintained, and the pool area provides both sunny and shady areas. We used the grills at the pool one evening, and they are stocked with fresh charcoal for grilling, which we though was a nice touch. Dee was also extremely helpful with our reservation and with questions before our vacation. Our family has stayed in many different complexes at Palmetto Dunes, and we felt that this was the nicest place we have stayed in, even though it is not directly on the beach, but a short 5 minute walk away.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This condo is very spacious, well decorated/maintained, and very well priced. We stayed here for my nephew's wedding and for a short vacation with our son before he deployed overseas. Palmetto Dunes is a great resort, felt very safe and everyone at Island Getaways was very helpful. Property very clean and just like advertised. Great screened porch which made you feel like you were in a tree house in a secret forest. Owner was very accomodating and couldnt have ask for a better person to work with for the stay. Would DEFINITELY recommend it for a vacation. Great pool and short two minute walk to beach. Immaculate landscaping.

What a great stay. Beautiful decor, accommodations just as described. We decided that, although this wasn't the cheapest unit around, we got a great deal (mostly because you get what you pay for). The owners really pay attention to the comfort of their guests and were available for any concerns we had. We will stay here again -- no more average hotels for us when we can stay in this kind of luxurious, yet homey environment. The BEST family vacation on Hilton Head -- ever!!
