Why the Owner Chose Trastevere
The street is part of the centre but it is definetely out of the noise and the caos, yet it is only five minutes away from the lively and interesting medieval neighborhood of Trastevere and a 15 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The street is exclusive, residential and very green, it is also very peaceful and the building, which hosts only 8 apartments, was designed by a famous architect in 1928.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment

This renaissance bridge is the most ancient operating bridge in Rome. It leads to Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori, the two most famous squares in Rome.
This old park used to be the big private garden of the Corsini Palace, now it hosts a wide variety of exotic plants and a beautiful collection of rare orchids.
The second most beautiful fountain in Rome, after the Trevi Fountain, is set in a spectacular point of view where you can enjoy the best panorama over the ancient center.
This VIII century church hosts beautiful mosaics, a pictoresque cloister, a bizantine crypt and the ruins of a 2nd century villa.
These are the ruins of one of the many pre-christian villas that used to be typical of this part of Rome.
This big renaissance palace was partly projected by Michelangelo and it is now the most beautiful embassy in the world.
This renaissance Palazzo has a fachade and a courtyard covered by a lot of original ancient roman statues. It also hosts a fake perspective by achitect Nicol Bramante.

My husband, my daughter, and I spent 12 days in this light and airy, clean and well-maintained apartment overlooking a charming courtyard filled with persimmon trees and palms. We loved the neighborhood--especially the elegant, quiet street--and enjoyed shopping for produce in the Cosimato market. The apartment's kitchen was very well equipped, and we prepared several dinners there after particularly strenuous days of sightseeing. It was a warm, comfortable, and inviting place to come home to. Trastevere is a fascinating part of Rome: beautiful old churches, nice shops, good restaurants. Although gentrified since the days when Fellini filmed there, it has retained its character. Paolo and Carmine were gracious hosts: helpful and available but always discreet, tactful, and respectful of our privacy. We look forward to spending our next Roman Holiday in their delightful apartment.

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. Everything is walkable from here. Or take the short tram ride on Via Trastevere across the bridge getting off at the last stop. You can also take a bus to the Vatican which winds above the city with amazing views. The street is quiet, but the action is close by. My idea of perfection in accommodations. Look carefully out of the living room window and you will sometimes see a green bird that could be a leaf. Quite something. Paolo was a very gracious host and close by if you needed him. I would definetly stay there again.

We only stayed three days in this fantastic apartment in the medieval neighborhood of Trastevere and we really regret not being able to stay longer. Unfortunately it was the end of our journey. We were also in Florence, but the apartment was disappointing in every respect. In fact we were quite skeptical about finding a good accommodation, but at the end there was nothing to worry about. Grazie Paolo for welcoming us into an apartment above our expectations. A couple of our friends have already booked for next June!

Wow… we exclaimed as soon as we crossed the threshold of the apartment. It’s even nicer than most of the photos posted on VRBO. Bright and welcoming, with contemporary art paintings on the walls and some nineteenth century furniture. The area is convenient, safe and well connected with other parts of the big historical center of Rome. The owners are really nice, they pointed out a couple of fantastic places off the beaten track, such as the Centrale Montemartini where you can admire amazing roman marble sculptures inside an old power plant. An experience that we recommend!

Lovely apartment in a beautiful, quiet and green area. An elegant building in a safe neighborhood close to the picturesque Trastevere district. Finally, a charming apartment, decorated with a refined Italian taste. Paoolo, exquisite conductor, addressed us to the best restaurants of Trastevere. We will hopefully come back next year.

Rome is Rome, one of the most beautiful cities we visited in our lives. If you happen to find such a good location, well, what should I say? It all turns into a haevenly experience. That's exactly what happened to us, thanks to this apartment: bright, quiet, clean, charming... we would come back for sure!

We were for the third time this year in this very nice apartment. A summer without the days in this beautiful apartment in Trastevere would not be complete. Many thanks to the landlord for the pleasant stay.

We loved the apartment. With a beautiful view over wide gardens with palm trees, quiet but close to the alleys of Trastevere, a neighborhood full of restaurants and bars. My daughter Linda, who is sixteen, deeply enjoyed the medieval area also because it is extremely safe. With nothing to worry about she had fun every evening with the daughter of some friends of us who had also taken an apartment in Trastevere, but, I can tell you, it was not as lovely as this one.

My wife and I choose this for the space in the apartment and the location away from the center of Rome. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and were able to return to a quiet place as we desired.

We spent a week in this lovely apartment, the place was very clean and maintained. The flat is set in a pleasant residential area and it is very convenient to reach all the most popular sites. We loved the art that Paolo selected to decorate the apartment and the wonderful view over the gardens. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is very quiet, day and night. We had all the modern comforts including a very fast and reliable wifi connection, and that made things much easier. The owner was very helpful and we would definetely stay there again!
