Sunset Cove is named for the sunsets enjoyed while sitting on the deck. This property is a private duplex. It is on the water overlooking the marsh, oyster beds and sea grass mounds. There is plenty of parking any size boat. The dock can be utilized during high tide. The put-in ramp for boats is a 2 minute drive. If you are looking for a nice quiet cozy place to get away from it all, you have arrived. Kayaks are for quest use with a minimal rental fee and deposit to cover any damage, to be used at your own risk.

Why the Owner Chose Cedar Key
Terry found Cedar Key because of the fishing. He took me there and I loved it. He had some friends who wanted to sell out so the rest is history! Cedar Key also has a nice airstrip right on the key minutes from town. We have even walked home when Judy "the local taxi Lady" wasn't available. Terry was motivated to get his private pilot license so now we fly in!
The Unique Benefits of this Duplex
The sunsets have to be one of the big attractions. There is a different show in the sky every night. Being on the water is great because of the convenience for boating, kayaking and the ocean breezes that blow under the house. The yard is great too. Very large, off the road and private. The deck allows for private sunbathing and great bird watching. Our back yard is a bird sanctuary anything from White Pelicans to crows. A variety of birds feed right in the yard. And our resident Great White Heron or "Peedie" as we like to call him, hangs out in the yard and sometimes on the deck railing!
We are close enough to town that we can get a good walk in or ride bikes. Yet far enough for the privacy and peaceful relaxation that comes with Cedar Key.
