This is the second time that we have rented Ken's home in Tahoe Donner. We love the location and we love all of the care and detail that Ken and Rebecca put into their home. The views are gorgeous from the living room / dining room area. Additionally, the place really feels like their home and the details from the inviting living room, a kitchen with all of the pots and pans you need to the fabulous hot tub are wonderful. Would highly recommend this spot and working with Ken and Rebecca who are extremely responsible!

We stayed here the week before x-mas break with another family for an entire week. We had young kids ages 4-6 who had a wonderful time and learned how to ski. The house is exactly as described and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need - from the bathrobes for the hot tub, to sleds in the garage, and a well stocked kitchen. After a week it felt like home for us and the kids. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice winter getaway with kids.

Stayed here over Labor Day and really enjoyed the house. In the nicest part of Donner with great views to enjoy from well thought-out outdoor areas. And, as advertised, the kitchen has a nice open set-up and is stocked for cooks. Mountain biking and hiking trails almost right outside the doors, though for the most part we just lounged on the decks and took advantage of the beach club access. Photos and descriptions are truly representative of the property.

This house and the whole ambiance of the area are first rate. The large windows, panoramic vistas, accessibility of Tahoe Donner and all Lake Tahoe area attractions are suberb. My Wife and I both agree and could not imagine a better place to stay for a vacation. The spacious kitchen, bedrooms, outdoor front and rear patios and decks, in home entertainment amenities are all excellent. I had a great 50th birthday week of activity and relaxation. This is a "must-stay" place.

A perfect get a away. This property was in close proximity to another property we rented last year and it is hands down far superior. Ken and Rebecca obviously take great pride in their home and it shows. Their home is well appointed and extremely convienient to Tahoe Donner ski resort which is literally a five minute car ride away. I strongly recommend this property to families or couples, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year's and truly enjoyed our stay. This is a lovely house that is perfectly located in Tahoe donner. There are beautiful views from the living room and dining room areas and the setting is just wonderful. It is a perfect house for around 6-7 people and the kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans and other cooking essentials. There are a lot of nice touches in the home (heated floors in the master bath, bathrobes, nice linens) that make the stay worthwhile. I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I invited both sets of our parents to Tahoe for Christmas this year (2010). Six of us stayed there comfortably. We were blessed with tons of early season snow, clear days and even 6" of fresh powder. The house was the hub of our many activities. We loved the location and it's proximity to the hills. We snowboarded at Northstar, Squaw Valley and Homewood. We snowshoed and cross country skiied at local trailheads (rentals were easy at the cross country shop in Tahoe Donner). Evenings were spent cooking big meals, lounging by the fire, playing dominoes and soaking our tired bones in the hot tub (under the stars). Ken was helpful in every way imaginable and gave us a great recommendation to the Cottonwood Restaurant for our last night dinner in Tahoe. Frankly, we didn't want to leave and would love to go again soon :)

Had a great time at the place & fully enjoyed all the amenities. The rooms & living spaces were very comfortable, well designed with access to the backyard deck area, tastefully decorated and something to look forward to after a day of activities. Nice spacious kitchen, dinner room and a gorgeous front deck with spectacular views that you will certainly enjoy. The hot tub in the backyard deck in winter with snow all-around was definitely a blast! Plenty of open space as well for snow-play for kids in the backyard as well. You'll have no regrets at this place.

We just returned from skiing tons of snow (Alpine Meadows, North Star, Squaw Valley). After skiing we had a great time in this wonderful mountain home: great views from the deck (especially at dusk), spend a lot of quality time in the kitchen , relaxed in the hot tub, chilled out, after dinner, with our friends. The house was well equipped and clean and we had great communication with the owner. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. To end with a famous quote of a californian citizen; 'We'll be back!'

We just returned from 5 days at this wonderful mountain home and would stay again. The view, hot tub, front and back decks as well as the interiors are inviting and homey and reflect great care by the owner. This is a fantastic house for relaxation with both family and friends!

You are going to love this place! It was perfect place for my family (2Adults, 2Kids) to meet up with my brothers family (2Adults,2 Kids) Everything about the house was wonderful. The owner has obviously put a lot of time and effort into making this a first rate experience all around. Not only is the house great but he provided us with extensive information about the Tahoe area that made our trip all the more relaxing. We would highly recommend this house to anyone planning a stay in the area.

Dear Ken, Thank you for sharing your wonderful home - we had a fabulous stay. The house is immaculate and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the amazing mountain views from the many floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining rooms. The kitchen is very well appointed (best we've seen in any vacation rentals) and perfectly met all our needs. It should be noted that there was a professional caterer in the group. Thank you again - we look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of renting this particular unit on two separate occasions; once in the summer and also winter. Both stays have been most enjoyable. The kids (9 and 12) loved being in the outdoors and it was a welcome diversion from city life. The amenity the wife and I enjoyed most was the hot tub. After a long day of skiing and or hiking, soaking the aches and pains away was awesome. Be sure to bring your chef hat because the kitchen leaves nothing to the imagination. My family and I will most certainly be renting this unit again.

My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about this home. Besides being readily accessible to all of the North Shore skiing resorts, its creature comforts are first rate. It’s obvious the owner has taken great care to ensure his guests can enjoy a relaxing stay in a clean, cozy and roomy abode. From a chef-friendly kitchen, to a welcoming living/TV room, to comfy bedrooms, to an inviting hot tub, this house has it all.

You will love your stay at this gorgeous mountain home! We enjoyed several stays here last winter and would highly recommend it. It is beautifully decorated and everything is brand new. It is awesome for kids (ours is eight) both indoors and out. I love sitting in front of the fire with a cup of coffee, while taking in the views of the mountains. We could even see that Northstar was too windy to ski one day. Also great for families with the huge dining table and very well appointed kitchen. But don't cook until you have enjoyed the views from the new hot tub!
