We arrived for a week's stay on 30 June, 2012. My three children and six grandchildren came from Denver, Austin and Dallas for a wonderful week at Watercolor. We all loved the house and its location across from the park (which we used often for frisbie and other games) and a block from the "Frog Pool". We made full use of the bikes to explore the trails, go to the Beach Club, the Tennis Club and the shops at Seaside. We were fortunate that our weather was perfect for all our activities. The beach was beautiful and membership at the Beach Club (that comes with the rental) was a real plus. It was nice having towels provided at the beach and at the Frog Pool. The house was perfect for our needs. Even with fifteen of us, we were never crowded, and even had beds left over. The bedrooms were large The children loved the ping pong table on the screened in porch. The kitchen was very well equipped and the large dining table was a fun gathering place for meals and games. The children enjoyed eating on the stools at the kitchen island/bar. All in all, It was a most memorable vacation for all of our family, and all of us would heartily recommend Seaglass as a wonderful place for a family reunion and vacation.

Our group enjoyed staying at this house tremendously. Its in an awesome location within WaterColor. The rooms are really big, and there is adequate seating at mealtimes for a big crew. The big porches and ping pong were are savior on a very rainy day. Thanks!

wonderful home which was perfect for all 16 of us. Gramz and Papa loved the private apt. over the garage which was small(grandkids reaction) but cozy and a great get away. Everyone had large spacious rooms and bathrooms. One negative was the shared bathroom for the 2 kids bedrooms. The older kids wound up using the downstairs powder room. Loved all the cubbies at the back door which tends to keep the clutter at bay. The resort is perfect for families. We were there over thanksgiving and there were large family groups everywhere. We used the bikes and rented some more so we were all mobile. Loved having seaside so close. Would do it again in a heartbeat

This was my third time to stay at this home and all have been wonderful. The first two times were girls trips featuring 18 girls! It is amazing how much space this place has - everyone slept comfortably in a bed and bathroom space/fresh towels was never an issue. There are also many cozy places to hang out througout the house and we never felt like we were on top of each other. I was very excited to bring my family to experience this great place recently. We went with 2 other families. 6 adults and 5 kids total. The kids loved the boy and girl bunk bed rooms - a big hit! As well as the ping-pong table. The location of the property is very secluded - hardly any traffic and a very cute park is located right across the street. The kids ranged in age from 4-9 and we let them ride their bikes and play in the park and didn't feel like we had to be watching them every minute. They really enjoyed this freedom while the adults could enjoy coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are a nice size - you don't have to worry about getting stuck with the "small room" as they are all big. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities and we enjoyed cooking meals and eating in the dining room or the screened porch. The house is close to the beach, pools, Publix and Seaside shops/restaurants. We biked to all of these. Would definitely recommend this house and I look forward to returning again soon.

My extended family and I stayed at Seaglass for a beach vacation in early September. Fall is the best kept secret at WaterColor! The beach, pools and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. This house worked well for our crew with its large bedrooms, spacious porches, big laundry room and ample space for storage. We loved the porch swing, the ping pong tables and being able to sit down to dinner together. The location cannot be beat as its close to the beach, Frog pool, lake and on a quiet street across from a park. Kids played catch, tag and soccer right across from the house in the park while adults relaxed on the front porch. Seaglass is awesome, and we will be back!

In my 30 years that we have stayed at various places on this coast, this was the worst managed home. 1. Upon arrival, the fridge was dirty and still had food in the freezer. 2. One of the king beds had dirty sheets- stains and hairs. We had to wash them for our first night. Not a nice way to start your vacation. 3. One of the pillows had BLOOD stains on it. Disgusting. It probably still does. 4. There was a dirty towel left behind the door and the hand towel had dried toothpaste on it. Obviously, the house was not cleaned properly. We paid for a clean and nice vacation home. 5. Perhaps if it had been cleaned, they would have removed the dead scorpion in the laundry room. In addition to that dead scorpion, a child found a live one under the clothes hamper and I almost stepped on a live one in the master bathroom on the last night. In all my years I have been to Florida, I have never encountered a scorpion. The manager who showed up to check the house when we were leaving just laughed at my comment. 6. In the house description, it states the owner provides six bikes with the rental. There was a mix up and this was not well managed-- this time by the owner's deal with Big Daddy. They took away two bikes and left us with less than the quoted six for a day. After trying Swantree Management, Big Daddy and finally reaching the owner, we received a sixth bike on the next day after we had left for the beach. We were all disappointed and will NEVER go back to this house again. I also hope no one has the same experience we had. Swantree is not a good management company; the owner needs to really know all of this and also clean up their act as well as their home. Disruptive vacation and not well managed.

Owner response: I am heartbroken that this guest walked away from Seaglass with complaints, and I am truly sorry for any issues that occurred during this week. I am saddened, too, because the review contains falsehoods, exaggerations and is not a fair description of events. I personally spoke with a member of this group during and after the week. She reported that issues were resolved and staff members were good and came right out to rectify. My cleaners are wonderful and have been cleaning Seaglass for years, now, and they care about making the house spotless for our guests' arrival. One of the cleaners is an elementary school teacher, and she thought it would be okay to leave an unopened box of popsicles for the new guests. I agree! However, I am glad that a staff member came back to clean up a small spot in the refrigerator and remove the unopened box of popsicles from the freezer upon the Saturday arrival to please our guest! I am so sorry that the cleaners missed a bath towel behind a door and a hand towel. There are dozens of fresh, clean towels in Seaglass; they never like to miss even one! All sheets are fresh and laundered that are placed on each bed. However, when a guest reports a problem we respond. Thankfully, a staff member brought new sheets to the home the next morning after the guest said bringing new ones that moment was not necessary. Upon inspection of the sheets back at the management's office in full daylight, there were no stains! Furthermore, all pillows are fresh or replaced! I spoke with my local pest control company and found out that a technician sprayed the perimeter of Seaglass during the week of this stay, coincidentally, as part of my regular pest control service. The technician explained that an insect called a Springtail was likely mistaken for a scorpion, and that I am doing everything that I can do to safely and effectively control pests. Of note, I provide six well-maintained bikes to my guests. During the reviewer’s week, the bike company left a seventh, extra, bike at Seaglass for three days. Next, the bike company mistakenly picked up the extra bike as well as one of the six house bikes on Monday. Thank goodness, the sixth house bike was returned on Tuesday by 11 AM. During the mix up, the bike company gave the house bike a tune up. Thankfully, the 2012 summer season was full of compliments and great memories at Seaglass!

We went in February and had a wonderful time at Seaglass. The house is beautiful and great for a large party with kids. The open kitchen, living and dining areas are much bigger than they seem in the pictures. I've stayed in a handful of Watercolor houses and in all but this one there was always one or two bedrooms that were cramped. Not this house. All the bedrooms were huge and the two upstairs bedrooms were perfectly situated next to the kids bedrooms to keep track of all the young ones. The park across the street was great for the kids and b/c this section is towards the back, there was no traffic coming past the house. We virtually let the kids play in the streets. Great house and we'll definitely be returning.

My friends and I stayed at this home for a very special birthday celebration. Everything about our stay was outstanding. This luxurious home is even more beautiful than the photos. The concierge greeted us upon arrival with the lights on and air conditioning running. He even offered to help with our bags. We parked the car and never got in it again. The bikes that were included with our rental were our only transportation. Helmets were provided too! We rode to the beach, the pool, Seaside and even Publix. Our favorite part of the trip was dining together on the screen porch. Having such an open floor plan made it enjoyable to cook and still feel part of the group. We had up to 3 people cooking at any given time and we never felt crowded. The main floor master bedroom was conveniently located next to the kitchen. There are storage cubbies next to the back door. We found this space to be the landing spot for all our beach essentials. Being the "host" I had my choice of bedrooms and rather than the "master" I chose the upstairs bedroom with a large covered porch on one side and a screen porch with ping-pong table on the other side. How I enjoyed swinging on the porch swing with a book in my hand! The Adirondack chairs on the front porch were also a popular reading/resting spot for our group. Morning coffee and wine in the evening were both enjoyed out there. The outdoor ceiling fans provided a gentle cooling effect. The location of this house is across from a park and the edge of protected land giving it a secluded feeling. Each night we biked to either Fish out of Water in Watercolor or Bud-n-Ally's in Seaside for sunset. Fish took reservations but get to Bud-n-Ally's early if you want a good seat. The Watercolor resort was amazing. Five pools with one very close to this house. They also offered a bonfire/marshmallow roast/S'mores on the beach on Saturday night from 7 - 9pm. Mid-September to October is a perfect time to spend on the Florida panhandle. The water is still warm but the temperatures are a little cooler. Crowds are gone but the area isn't deserted. Steal of our trip was happy hour at Fish out of Water. Their 5:30 - 6:30pm happy hour offered $2.75 domestic bottled beer, $5 glasses of wine and $6 signature cocktails in a luxury setting. Their cucumber cocktail was one of the best I've ever tasted. We also enjoyed the kayak rental at YOLO in Watercolor and biking to Grayton Beach State Park.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation at Seaglass. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was great for a large family. The kids loved the Frog Pool which is only a few blocks away. We loved riding bikes around Watercolor and the Beach Club was great. We would love to return.
