Completed in June '08, this beautiful resort home is the perfect year-round escape for friends and family to gather and create lasting memories. The home has been custom-designed to be the ultimate blend of casual lake house comfort and modern convenience, from the hand-scraped hardwood floors and stone work on the indoor/outdoor fireplace to the plasma tv in the Great Room.
House is approx 3000', with 3 King bedrooms, a double bunk room & Queen sofa bed, accommodating 12 comfortably. The main level features a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace faced in rustic stone, a large plasma television with stereo and surround sound & I-pod dock. The kitchen and dining room are fully appointed with stainless steel appliances and all dishes and implements included. The large, rustic farm table seats 8, in addition to 4 barstools at the island counter. Off of the kitchen at the front of the house is a spacious deck with gas BBQ and seating area. On the back side is our fabulous "year-round" patio with private spa, dining set and a comfortable fireside seating area under an open pergola. It is the perfect place to end a long, hot summer day, and the spa and fireplace will beckon on cooler fall and winter evenings.
Each bedroom has been designed to provide privacy and comfort, with high-thread count sheets, luxurious pillows and mattresses, designer furnishings and accessories. The lower level features a family room with comfortable furnishings,game system, 2nd tv and vhs/dvd player.
The house in very conveniently located to the endless amenities of Wapato Point. The outdoor pool area just around the corner, and the beaches, dock and play areas are approx 100 yards away. The beach rental kiosk offers paddle boats, canoes, horseshoes, and putt-putt equipment. In the summer there is a stocked, "catch and keep" trout pond for the kids and many other organized activities. The boat dock has space available on a first-come basis, and boat trailer parking is available on site. The clubhouse features an indoor pool and workout room, and 6 lighted, outdoor tennis courts are also available.
The Chelan area is full of year-round activities, highlighted by 10+ local wineries with tasting rooms, charming festivals, snow sports in nearby Echo Valley, fishing, golf, Slide Waters water park, and of course, every imaginable lake activity. Brochures and recommendations are provided, and packages combining the rental of the house with wine-tasting tours, golf excursions, etc are in the works. The Blue Star House is amazing! Definately top notch in it's ammenities and decor, 5 stars. We stayed there with 2 other families and had a total of 6 kids and the space was perfect for everyone. Being able to walk to putput golf, ice skating, pool and hot tub on site were great. Thank you for making your beautiful home available to us.

Our entire family loved the home, and of course Wapato Point is amazing. The kitchen is particularly wonderful and so well equiped, as are the bedrooms and baths. We certainly can recommend it to everyone. Melissa has a real flare for decorating.

Every year we get together with about 13 girls and do a girl's weekend. 2008 was the first year we found the Blue Star House and fell in love. I have been coming to Chelan since I was a child so I knew the location was fabulous but the place was more than I expected. Very clean, spa like, relaxing, large and comfortable not to mention close to everything. We enjoyed our weekend and can't wait to do it again every year!! Thanks Melissa for such a wonderful time

Wow! Our expectations were blown away. This house absolutely feels like home away from home...except Lake Chelan is practically in the front yard. Even with three families, it felt like we had tons of space. We can't wait to come back.

I absolutely loved this place! The pictures on the website don't do it justice. It is just beautiful and very spacious. Close to the pool, beach, parks, minigolf, etc. I plan to come back again next year. :)

My family had an absolutely wonderful time at the blue star house! The home is emaculate with very spacious accomidations including an enormous kitchen and wonderful backyard! we really enjoyed the fireplace and the jacuzzi! It was our first trip to Lake Chelan and Wapato point- we are hooked for good! Can't wait to come back next year! The Coates Family
