The BEST vacation Home!!

We stayed at this beach front house with 10 of our family members for one week and had the best time ever!! There are many of things we loved about this house (pretty much everything!) but the best would have to be the deck and beach!! The beach was great for all ages and the deck was perfect for outdoor meals and just enjoying the view. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The contact person was extremely helpful and full of great information about the island. The Anahola location is great, as it was about half way between the south and north shores. We will be back!!

I don't know who this is, or if he even stayed at the home. We have not received any negative complaints about the home. The home books almost 45 weeks per year, with many returning guests every year. Some from celebrities. Please read all of the other positive reviews! The home is ideal because it sleeps 14 people, is located on one of the best beaches in Kauai, has been recently updated to a high standard, and offers breathtaking views of the beach and ocean! We pride ourselves in excellent customer service, and have several people on island to assist our travelers if anything is not working or is unsatisfactory. If there is a complaint we are there within 15 minutes to solve the issue. We have not received any phone calls or e-mails from this person. I am not sure what they mean by theatre room being incorrect. Same theatre room as we have had for years. Makes no sense. We just stayed here recently and there was none of the things the previous reviewer mentioned are true. While almost none of the beachfront homes in Kauai have AC, we have always found that this home stays very cool with the tradewinds coming off the ocean. Last time I stayed I had to close the window because it was getting too cool. While we can't control the rooster population in Kauai we have not had problems with roosters. In the mean time we will try to control the roosters and add that one sink stopper. All of the other reviews here most accurately depict the beauty of the home, location, view, and area.

Beautiful Private Location

The photo of the "Theatre Room" is incorrect as of 5/10/2011, Wall unit furniture isn't in the in the room. Peeling walpaper on the kitchen wall and kitchen is infested with ants. No ice maker, hard for a large family to cope with in hot weather. Ceiling fans: Some don't work, others only operate on slow and ineffective, old and dusty and corroded. Need to be replaced. Without air conditioning home was hot, humid. Master Bathroom Tub is ugly, moldy, exposed electrical wiring in the ceiling. One sink stopper was missing. Home needs updating and some repairs to make it the home the photos depict. Wild roosters woke us up everyday, not best for restful vacation.

The Best Vacation

Two families (9 of us) stayed here July 2010.We all had the most wonderful time. The house is spacious,comfortable and fully equipped. You could not ask for a better beachfront location (and I live on the beach in Los Angeles). There are only about 10 homes on this beach and even though there is a public park adjacent,it was like being on a private beach (and this was over July 4th weekend) You can swim,boogie board,surf and take long walks. When we had a problem with the jacuzzi (on the outdoor deck) and when we ran out of propane for the BBQ,management responded immediately.Driving to the market near Kappaa or day trips to other beaches were easy.If the 9 of us can ever do it again,we will be back.

Excellent place to stay for a large group. We had 13 for a wedding, which we held in the backyard next to the beach and had a wonderful time.

A stunning one-of-a-kind home in an idyllic setting! Plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group (my wife and I plus our 3 grown kids and their significant others). The home was clean and spacious, just as described and portrayed. And the owner (and concierge!) were most gracious and helpful with attention to details that made our week there so relaxing and worry-free! Plus it was amazing to go swimming and snorkeling right out the door onto a never-crowded beach, and gentle tradewind breezes on the lanai were always so refreshing! Plus a great central location - just minutes up to the lush north shore or minutes down to the sunny south shore.

We stayed here in early January 2010 and were thoroughly delighted. Beach, house, amenities, location, and view; all were great. The architecture and furnishing are a pleasure, the house is very comfortable and fully equipped from the kitchen to the large entertainment center. It was great to go right from the deck out onto the beach to swim, snorkel, or walk along the surf. The Kauai guide books and owner's instructions at the house gave us all the info we needed for hikes, food, and farmer's markets. It was a vacation made perfect by the accommodations.

I took my family, grandchildren and all, to Kauai in early June of 2009. We stayed at the house for 2 weeks and it was wonderful. The house is right on the water and the views are fantastic. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone wanting a centrally located home that is truly waterfront.

House and property exceeded my expectations. Great location on island with easy access to North and South beaches. Nicely furnished and equiped. Very comfortably housed 6 kids ages 16 - 25 and 2 adults for 1 week. On a beautiful and secluded beach. Pictures really don't do property justice.
