A newly decorated and furnished, 3 bedroom apartment at the secure complex known as The Astons, which is situated in picturesque and quiet Aston Bay, just 5 kilometres from bustling Jeffreys Bay.
The unit sleeps 6 people comfortably with twin beds in the master, en-suite bedroom and a double bed and bunk beds (which can easily be separated) in the other 2 bedrooms. A family bathroom serves these 2 bedrooms. All 3 bedrooms have extensive cupboard clothes storage. All bedding is supplied. Please bring your own towels as these are not supplied.
The kitchen is compact and is equipped with all the usual appliances--stove/oven, toaster, kettle, microwave oven and all utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is no dishwasher, washing machine or tumble dryer. A laundrette is situated a kilometre or so away, however, and there are clothes drying lines available in the complex.
The lounge/dining room is comfortably furnished with 6 seater dining table and chairs and leather, 6-seater lounge suite and coffee table. A color TV and DSTV decoder is available. Remember to bring a smart-card.
The apartment is on the ground floor, and one walks out directly onto manicured lawns and then straight onto the beach through the dunes. There is an outside table and 6 chairs available and a sun-umbrella and a 47cm Weber braai (barbecue). A few steps to the left is the swimming pool and under-cover braai (barbecue) area
There is under-cover, secure parking for one car per unit but please note that, although this is a ground floor apartment, there are a few steps down to the apartment from the car park which the very young and very old might find difficult.
A grocery shop, bottle store, bakery/coffee shop, bar/restaurant, hairdressers, estate agency and launderette, all within about a kilometre of the apartment, serve Aston Bay.
Bustling Jeffreys Bay, about 5 kilometres away, is famous for its world-class surfing, dozens of restaurants, hundreds of shops and supermarkets (including the world famous Billabong stores), 9 hole golf course, bowling greens, etc, etc. There are 2 championship, 18 hole golf courses in nearby St. Francis Bay, including the newly opened Jack Nicklaus Links course. The major city of Port Elizabeth is only 80 kilometres to the east.
