First and foremost, the owner, (Greg) is great! Anytime we needed to get ahold of him via email or phone, he wrote/called in a very timely manner. Nothing sets apart rentals like a owner who you can't reach or you spend time waiting to hear from--not so with Greg! Second, the place is fantastic! Clean, quiet & equipped with all your kitchen needs. Greg's photography lines the walls of house and it just really sets off the place. This has to be the most relaxing vacation we have ever had! Watching the air balloons while eating breakfast out on the patio, laying out by the pool listening to tunes that Greg has piped outside the house, BBQ'ing on the back deck, shooting hoops in the pool, enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset, taking walks around the lovely, quiet neighborhood--all of this adds up for a wonderful time! You don't have to be a golfer to stay here & enjoy yourself!! Also, Safeway, Walgreen's, Starbucks, and Wal*Mart are very close by! We went to Crossroad's Church for Easter--real nice & contemporary. We loved the Prickly Pear Marguerita at Ocho Loco's--the locals also suggested Roberto's nearby for mexican food which was good. You will not believe the city park in Anthem--if you have kids you will want to hit that place--I shot several photos there! We took in the Desert Botanical Garden's in Phoenix 30 min away (awesome!), we drove to Sedona 2 hrs north (amazing!) We love Greek culture, so we drove to Florence 1.5 hours south, and saw the St. Anthony's Greek Monastery which was very cool! (look up what you have to wear before going)--then afterwards we went to Mount Athos in Florence for lunch and had their Souvlaki which was very close to what we had in Greece. We're not really mall shopping people, but if you are there is a HUGE outlet mall in Anthem. So as you can see, there is so much to see/do and then there is this sweet desert oasis of a home to come back to and just relax & feel at home! We would definitely come back!

Thank you Greg for the opportunity to stay in your home. The home was everything you told me it would be. My two grandsons especially liked riding on the golf cart. The pool and patio were wonderful and that is where we spent most of our time. The accomodations were far above what anyone would expect. The shopping was great and the restaurants were wonderful. The location was great and close to where my sister is living. I would recommend this home to anyone who would like to visit Anthem Az the town is growing fast. Thanks again Stephenie Nixon

My husband, our 1 year old son, my husband's parents and myself just returned from staying in this wonderful home. We had an amazing time. The listing description was very accurate. The property was clean and well maintained. It has very easy access to the interstates. It is located in a very nice community. The neighbors are very friendly. The pool water features were very nice. We enjoyed the pool and the local golf courses. The owner was a pleasure to work with. Everything we needed was included in the home. The town of Anthem had many restaurants and shopping. There is an outlet mall that is very close. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We are looking forward to going back!!!
Owner response:Jennifer, Thank you for the kind response, I appreciate it very much. I am glad that you guys had a memorable stay. Please come back anytime. Greg

We just returned from a one week stay at this beautiful home. It was well appointed, easy access to the highway, amenities and many golf courses. The weather was fantastic, the wild life seen at the end of the day was wonderful (I won't give away the type of wild life!). I would highly recommend staying at this house as the owner was very well organized and thoughtful. We will definitely be back...

Anthem is just slightly out of the City of Phoenix, enough to provide respite from the traffic and hubbub of a city. Very relaxing, inside well guarded security gates(many are useless). Lots of nice areas to walk around a beautiful desert subdivision. Nice health club and pools. We found good public golf at Dove Valley just about 20 minutes from here. The home is well furnished with a nice patio around the pool with water features on the golf course. Very comfortable. The home is well appointed, pictures are accurate as well as descriptions. Other guest comments were borne out as well. Booking and dealing with the owner was a very pleasurable experience. Shopping for groceries was convenient at a nearby Safeway and Walgrens. Anthem is located off I-17, and about 90 miles from Sedona which is a great day trip if you have never been there. Breathtaking scenery. Access to University of Phoenix Stadium (about 25 minutes) was all freeway and a breeze if you are there for sports (as we were for BCS Championship). I have rented three different VBRO homes so far and had a great experience each time. I would recommend this listing to friends and or relatives-a great value and outstanding accomodations.

My husband and I spent a week at Greg's home and could not have been more pleased! We loved the location with it's beautiful golf course and mountain views. The backyard is a private oasis. The pool was a nice break from the heat and the waterfall was so relaxing to listen to. We ate all of our dinners outdoors, watching the sunset. I cooked every meal and had no problems. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal! My husband loved watching the ball games on the big screen TVs. The furnishings are top notch. The house is very clean and well organized. We would highly recommend this home to anyone! Thanks Greg for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We stayed in Greg's house for a week and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is superbly maintained and equipped. He has paid great attention to detail in the decor and quality furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed walks and golf cart rides around the quiet, picturesque neighborhood as well as relaxing poolside listening to the great outdoor stereo system under the cool mist. Gary & Cindy

my husband & I and our son & his family (6) total spent May 31 thru June 6 at this beautiful home. Everything was clean, the location was close to shopping and interstate, everything you could ever need was already there. The pool and waterfalls were amazing........the grandchildren never wanted to get out! But then neither did I!!! Awesome! Thank you Greg for all the nice touches in your home that helped to make our stay quite enjoyable. We hope to come back again. Rachel & Rick Omaha, NE

Beautiful sunsets, golf course view, yet very private setting. This is the place to settle in for a week or a month to enjoy the Sonoran foothills in the north valley of Phoenix. This home in a gate guarded community is a perfect respite and such an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel, no comparison. The owner Greg has provided everything needed for a relaxing visit in this pristine property. This is the perfect location for day trips to Sedona and Jerome with each only an hour away. Try Ebisu for their sushi in the Fry's plaza, great for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend this home for your Arizona getaway, we will be returning as soon as possible.

We spent a month at this house and found it to be a great experience. The golf course location is first rate and you have the security and privacy of a gated community. The house has a very livable and practical floor plan with additional amenities such as 3 TV's with cable, 3 sound systems, a drawer full of DVD's and CD's, hi speed internet and the use of the owner's golf cart which was extremely useful for local travel. In addition, the owner, Greg, is a great guy who will do everything possible to make your visit as pleasant as possible. This rental has our highest recommendation and we plan to return. My husband and I visited this house with our two young boys for a week in early April. It was the perfect place to escape from a long Alaska winter! Although the pool was a wee bit cool for swimming, it was beautiful and our boys couldn't get enough of playing in and around it. We also took them to the heated club pools which were perfect. The neighborhood was pristine and felt very safe. Great proximity to the local playground, miniature train, shopping, and day trips to Phoenix. I also loved working out at the fitness club every day. Greg (the owner)was wonderful to work with! We would definitely recommend this rental.
