My home is right on the beach. There are 2 kayaks for you to use along with collection of beach toys for your kids in the fenced yard. It is very quiet and private.
The house faces east where the sunrises over the Sea of Cortez. The patio is covered, tiled, with comfortable seating, a large dining table and wood burning fire place. It is great for long dinners and cozy evenings watching the moon rise. An easy place to entertain.
The kitchen is large and well equipt for even the best gourmet cook. There are two bedrooms, one with it's own half bath. The second bedroom has a full size bed and a futon couch makes into another comfortable bed. The bath room is large with a shower for two. The washing machine, wireless internet, satilite tv and radio give you the comforts of home.
La Ventana is a friendly fishing village that welcomes visitors. There are several good seafood restaurants and taco stands in the area and a well stocked nearby food market and fish market.
Many people know this area as ground zero for windsurfing and kiting in North America in the winter months. Other water sports are available too such as fishing, snorkeling and diving.
You can make your vacation action packed or revel in the serenity of La Ventana.
Viewing beautiful sunrises and moonrises over Isla Cerralvo and gorgeous sunsets in the evening are pleasurable ways to begin and end the daylight hours. Strolls along the beach which stretches for miles to the north and south, passing a light house with nesting egrets and natural hotsprings along the shore are delightful ways to spend mornings and evenings. Hiking through cardon and palm studed arroyos, visiting Mexican ranchos in the nearby mountains, plus all the available water sports are delightful ways to spend the day.
