The Ridge at Blackjack is in the heart of Big Snow Country, receiving an average of over 200 inches of snow per year. The Ridge is a 6-plex building located right at the top of the Blackjack Ski Resort for convenient ski-in/ski-out access. Rent the whole building for your group for an unforgettable family holiday or just one unit for a cozy romantic getaway. Each unit has one seperate bedroom with queen bed along with a sink area in the bedroom. The living are has a sofa sleeper (or other bed option) table and chairs, TV with cable and DVD and a full kitchen. This building has been completely remodeled with all new furnishings, kitchen appliances (including dishwasher), new pans, glassware, etc. There is a large hot-tub and sauna in the building.
In addition to being located directly on the Blackjack Ski hill, we are just minutes from Indianhead, Big Powderhorn and Whitecap Mountains for a large variety of ski/snowboard experiences nearby. And kids under 10 ski free with paid adult! The Porcupine Mountains and Ski the Porkies ski area are an hour away.
Cross country skiers will also find some of the best x-country ski trail systems in the mid-west just a few miles away.
The Ridge also has direct access to the snowmobile trails with over 1000 miles of trails out your back door. Just pull up and unload your sleds and be ready for some of the best snowmobiling you will find anywhere.
We are located just 2 hours from Duluth, 4.5 hours from Minneapolis area, 5 hours from Milwaukee and 6.5 hours from Chicago. You may not have snow there, but chances are, we have many feet here!
