This fully equipped three bedroom lakefront home is located in a super quiet area of Northeast Pennsylvania. One of those places you fall in love the minute you see it. Clean fresh air and fantastic surroundings.
There are two bedrooms with full beds and one bedroom with a single bed. Living room is equipped with Cable TV, DVD, and VCR. Couch opens to another full bed and added cot is available if needed. Off of the living room is a screened-in porch with seating area for breakfast. Home kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining. There is a brand new bathroom fully equipped with cabin shower. Just renovated (12/2010)
Near the water, on your private land, you can enjoy seat swing. Toward the evening you can have the camp fire and watch the reflection of it in the lake. Near the water we also have a picnic table and chairs, so you can have a nice meal by the water as well.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Como
We wanted to have a place on the lake front away from noise, crowds and traffic. This is exactly what we wanted. Beautiful clean lake surrounded by woods and mountains. Crystal clean water and nature in harmony.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Fishing is absolutely amazing! I have been fishing since I was a little kid and I do not remember any other location that has so many fish. We have a camp fire pit and there is nothing like nice quiet night with stars above and sitting by the fire watching them.
$15 per round golf course with very nice Club House and restaurant
Outstanding Place to play golf at 2000 feet above the sea level with exceptional views!

We are a family of 3 (Adrian, Mariola and baby girl JULIA) + yellow lab (toffie).
First time we came to the area in 2006 and we fell in love with the place we rented for long weekend. Not even a year later we bought the place from the family who owned it for 30 years. We love to come out there to relax and enjoy nature. It's a perfect escape from loud and busy NYC area. You can just sit there by the lake and forget about daily challenges we all have in our lives.

I recently stayed here with my husband and two-year-old daughter. We had a wonderful weekend away from our busy life in NJ. The listing description was accurate regarding the location and the photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance. All of the necessary amenities were provided. The property was clean - the bathroom looked very new. Great deck, nice campfire, clean lake - no disappointments there. More importantly, the owners were very personable. They answered all of my questions and were very easygoing. Email responses were quick, and I was also able to reach them by phone when I had a question. Seems like the owners are a great family - the neighbors were very friendly as well. Nice weekend getaway!

this is a great place to sit back relax and let yourself go. Away from busy highways, this lake house guarantees a piece of mind. We stayed at this lake house about half a dozen times. Great fishing in the lake, close to many ski areas as well as golf courses. Great place to sit back enjoy a drink and watch the sun set over the lake. Recomend to all people that want to go somewhere where they can relax and kick back.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
