This was one of the most charming places we have ever stayed. We had gone to Salt Lake for a wedding and decided to spend a few days in Santa Fe, otherwise we would not have gone in March, but the weather was perfect. We walked around in short sleeved shirts. The parking area for this place in large and this would be a caution, if you are looking at other places. Parking seemed tight at some houses. I can't imagine a nicer place. There is no exaggeration in the owners description. It has true feeling of the Southwest, from the furniture to the artwork to the fireplace to the doors. It is a true adobe structure. Although it has only one bathroom, the sink in the bedroom really helps, so even though there was myself and my wife, our son and his wife and their 8 month old baby, we never found this to be a problem. . As to location, you are about 2 blocks from the Plaza, which is in the heart of the shopping area. Everything, from Museums to Restaurants to Galleries is within easy walking distance. Would I recommend this to a friend, absolutely. In fact if we go back, I would not bother to look for any other place.

Casa Galleria is truly our home when we are visiting Santa Fe. The home is magic to us and full of great energy! We feel very blessed to have found this great adobe home and are so thankful for having met Russ, Noel and the great folks that work with them! In addition to the charm and energy that surrounds you, it is such a convenient place to stay. You are just a leisurely walk to the plaza with all of the great galleries, restaurants and shops for you to enjoy without having to drive. You're close to fitness centers, grocery shopping and a great spa as well. The other great part is the kitchen, the grill etc...so you can cook and just enjoy being home. We fell in love and I subsequently proposed marriage at Casa Galleria and may even get married in Santa Fe. Needless to say we love it! Casa Galleria and Santa Fe provide the environment that makes our visits so memorable. I can't say enough good things about it! Thank you Russ and Noel!! Mike and Darlene

Just wanted to write you a short note thanking you for your hospitality and what turn out to be a wonderful and enchanting trip. Your Galleria adobe was very comfortable and we all enjoyed the tasteful decorations. We took some of your advice and went to both Maria's and Bumble Bee's. Both were great. But, I will have to say the highlight of the trip was driving up highway 84 and stopping at all the art studios. We met Lynette Jennings, who used to host one of the decorating shows on Discovery channel. She now lives up toward Abiquiu and creates paintings and sculpture. Santa Fe is beautiful and we will be sure to return.

My husband & I stayed here the summer before last, and haven't been able to stop talking about it. The home is so inviting, and oozes warmth and character. Time and again, we found ourselves wishing that we never had to leave. The property was spotless; every detail was in order. The owners even have a little notebook prepared that lists restaurants, attractions, etc. Perhaps our favorite part of the house was the outside area of the home. We cooked out, sat outside, and watched the world go by. Bliss. We just can't recommend this home enough. Hotels are quickly forgotten; this home gets into your soul and becomes a very important part of your vacation.

We very much enjoyed our month-long stay this fall in Santa Fe, living in Casa Galeria. Noel and Russ were helpful, responsive, and accommodating. The house is as advertised: incredibly well-located, comfortable and well-equipped, from leather love- seat and just-right beds all the way down to olive oil and spices. The effective wi-fi was important to us, and on colder days we definitely appreciated the Tree of Life stove. The shower had sufficient hot water; the sitting area was pleasant and welcoming; the art, furnishings and even dishware made living here a pleasure. This beautifully equipped house was perfect for the two of us. We'd love to come back at some point, and it would be hard to consider staying anywhere else!

"We had an amazing time in Santa Fe and our stay at Casa Galeria made it even better. It was everything they said it would be and much more. The house's proximity to the Plaza was just perfect. Casa Galeria was just the touch of the Southwest that we needed to make us feel a part of the area. If we ever come back, and we hope to do just that, we will certainly stay there again."

My wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights in April. It is situated in an excellent location - only a few minutes walk to the Plaza - restaurants, shopping but situated in a nice quiet residential area. The unit was clean, comfortable and cozy with a little fireplace which came in handy since we had an unseasonal snowfall. There was a good supply of dishes and cookware. My wife would have appreciated a dishwasher but it wasn't a big deal since we only ate breakfast in. There are a number of antique furnishings which complement the southwest decor and original art work by the owner which adds to the charm and ambiance of this rental. There is a nice bar-b-que and dining set outdoors so that you can have a drink & dine while taking in the sunset. I would highly recommend this unit to a couple or small family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'm usually disappointed when we get somewhere. The place is seldom quite how it looked in the pictures. This was better. We really enjoyed reading your book, Noel. What an experience--to learn weaving in such a way. We ENJOYED THE BEDS--can't forget the beds--most comfortable I've slept in away from home. And we'll be looking to find those same sheets for ourselves at home. Thank you.
